  1. I like the look of your side lockers . Both sides would be cool but I havent got the space . Thanks for the pics BOB Mozza cheers fella . Have a good week jamin .
  2. No probs . I,ll put your name down for that one . A pint would be nice cheers . Speak soon .
  3. Cheers jamin . Stressed me out all the rain weve been having . It was stop start all day .
  4. WE GIVE IT AWAY . ALWAYS HAVE A WAITING LIST THOUGH . IF YOU CONTACT ME LATE JANUARY I MAY HAVE A BIG LOAD OF H/C NUT. YOU COULD ALWAYS CONTACT BORDER TREE CARE TO SEE WHAT THEY DO WITH THERES .
  5. Well this is what we got done today . Size is 6ft 8 long by 1ft high and 2ft 1 Wide . We have also lifted the height of the Tarp so it is not covering the tool storage . Still got to fabricate some kind of locking system . Will be fitting tool box to roof rack soon and having a bigger tail gate .
  6. DONT FORGET THE UDDERMINT
  7. Ifor top looks cool on your truck . Think I would be tempted to make a platform on top of the ifor for hedges .I had some steel today from a local fabricator . Had a root round his off cuts and got most of the stuff . Going to tackle it tomorrow if its not peeing down .Oh B&Q first for some bolts .
  8. Nice work there Matt .
  9. Fair play. 130 is something I should of had also . Trouble is 4x4 is a must for 70% of the jobs we do . I am going to stick with the old girl as shes has helped earn me some dollars . Side locker conversion full steam ahead . I will also make the tail gate on the rear a foot higher .
  10. Hi all have any of you with dropside trucks converted the space behind the sides into an enclosed tool storage area . I am going to build one soon any ideas would be grateful . I saw a landy on here with a similar conversion . Did think about selling the landy but I just cant part with the old girl . Shes an absolute diamond . So fitting tool storage in the back and fitting a chequer plate box on the roof rack is a must . Cheers:thumbup:
  11. Ive stopped selling them . I now give them away or usually do a bit of bartering . One guy owns a cheese factory another has a chicken farm so do quite well off these guys . Get lots of fruit & veg depending whats on offer from a few small holders . I think why sell logs when I can do tree work and make more dollars . This is just my take on the firwood thing plus it keeps the yard clear . I only ever sold 30 tons max but never really did push it .
  12. Lookin good .
  13. More like the WICKER MAN .
  14. I have been using only left and rights for a while . Seems much smoother and quicker .
  15. Sounds crazy . But you might just have a plan there . And I know it will work . Obviously I will have to paint them in the company colours . If I cant find any wheels to suit . You gotta watch this space . Well they are only to be used front of house to back ? Well at least I got a plan cheers
  16. This is a fair point and I may well have to do this . I was hoping maybe someone has some how overcome this problem . Maybe removing the wheels and sitting the machine on a trolley as ground is smooth . Its just those fat tyres
  17. I was wondering if any of you chaps have or had the 20hp Rayco HD . I was thinking when you just cant get to the job because of narrow access what do you lads do . I have 8 Conifers to grind and just cant get to them even with gate post down . Does anyone know if there are any other thinner wheels that have the same stud holes . I thought that some of those camping trailer wheels look similar ? . Only going to use them to gain access and will change over once there . Cheers
  18. Wo thats some wound . Reconstructive Surgery me thinks . Wonder how it looked all healed up ? . You have to respect the saw . Like an old ground worker once told me when it bites you it aint playing . Ive never forgot that .
  19. Impressive .

  21. Cheers for that it is exactly as i remember . Winter project top idea . Surely you can charge more if no one else can get to the stump . Would be nice to see the finished project . Thanks nice little project there all the best .
  22. As said before ,sold as seen . I do think it is very decent of you to offer the UJs and filters /oil . He should be happy with that .Most people would just say well sold as seen period .Anyway hes been round yours for x amount of hrs not to mention all the tea hes drank. I think hes had his fair share of your hospitality .
  23. I had one on a k reg it started every time first time . Would take a heap load of chip and not look over loaded . Heaters never were any good on mine . Only sold it as I had an amazing bid on her by another contractor . I simply wish I had kept her . Air brakes were spot on , couldnt get the winch to work though . I would buy her back today if I had the chance .
  24. Now I come to think of it isnt the Partner version owned by eletrolux which means its the same as the husky and jonsered ? Might be cheaper if you can find a second hand power unit of the same kind .And have mucho spares . Cool little machine . You should get some pics up . Dont sell it as they are hard to go get hold of secondhand . cheers .
