  9. Yeaa haaa All ordered now Cinch , rope grab , pulleys etc . Also some decent 10mm rope for the cinch . Booked some good trees in after crimbo . Hey did you ever get one of those jackets from GO Outdoors ? My climbing has been the same for years. If it aint broke dont fix it . Some of these guys on here have just opened my eyes . Ive been stagnant for so long cant wait now . Will have a few days playing with them before going back to work . Whats your climbing system ?
  10. No worries Liam . It just takes a bit of time and before you know it you will be sick of all the small trees and be cravin the big uns like Gavin off here . Glad your getting better . I,m just starting to try and make things a bit less of a strain . I tryed the pulley behind the blakes on a decent birch the other day quite liked it . I even had a play at our yard on a Ash tree using the hand over hand realy liked it again . Only prob was the massive pulley I used . So I am investing a few hundred quid on new kit cams pulleys .
  11. Thanks very much wirecore flip line it is . Well tbh a fellow tree worker uses one and has done for a while . He comes from a climbing back ground ( industrial ) rope access and he loves it . I better tell him what steve said . cheers Matty
  12. Yeah valid point there as the cams are quite serated . Ok for hauling up a big saw . So all good for a wire core flip line .

  15. I mentioned it as someone elsewhere on the forum was using one . I,m not familiar with them .whats the main use ? Back up for srt ?
  16. Cost of the eddy may be a factor . It is a lot bigger and heavier than the cinch . Why not use petzl grigri . Getting my cinch after crimbo and loads of other new goodies well excited . Anybody use the wild country ropeman mk 1 or 2 as a positioner .
