  2. Certainly gets rid of the 'morning glory' .....

Thanks fellas. I'm not confused any more. At all. Honestly. Where is JJG when you need him....
  5. Make sure you have loads at the show Justin!
  6. Can we make it a Friday afternoon one? Have an awkward client job on Saturday, so will have to drive back in the evening. Don't worry, that loose 2 ton of conifer chip in the back of the Tranny tipper with the bottom tailboard pins undone should prevent any police pursuit/drink driving charges.... How do we all get together? Is it Jonesies at 12 or is that Saturday?
  7. Very familiar, but why does it happen more with the 200 than the ground saws? Is it because God likes to hear me swearing at my groundies?.....
  8. Quick one - how do I change my avatar? Have done it before, but can't work it out now. Picture of todays 'biggest tree in England takedown' incoming. Cheers.
  9. Bro's PTI thinks it builds muscle but not tendon / cartilige. So when your muscle gets stronger it can screw everything up. I hope this is wrong, but I'm beginning to wonder...

DRT? RADS? Are there some new drugs out there I'm missing out on? Help please.
  11. I don't think I can run as fast as that....
  12. Actually find the Blakes easier on long pulls when I'm not spiking, and I can use an abbreviated footlock with it that I can't seem to do with a VT. Not often I'm not spiking these days though.
  13. It sure does. I'm intrigued. And the gym is a 15 mile round trip and I LIKE TRAINING AT HOME ALRIGHT! Spill about the chins Martyn.
  14. Used the Blakes with a hitchclimber for a while and liked it, but it doesn't advance as smoothly as a VT. The problem with a VT is that it is tricky to set up correctly. I cheat. When I've got it perfect I leave it on my rope. Wears the hitch cord out quicker, so I just bin it more regularly. Costs me about 50p a week. Blakes is still an awesome hitch.
  15. Has anyone heard about negative side effects of creatine? My bro who is in the forces reckons that it can degrade joint strength. Thinking about it, my tennis elbows first surfaced when I was taking creatine. Coincidence?
  16. My problem with gyms is you always seem to get some 17 stone mesomorph (who would have been big even if he had never trained) trying to tell you how to do everything - and you can't convince him that you don't want to end up with pecs like Pamela Anderson. And a tiny knob.
  17. That's why I train mate. With all the tips I've picked up from Arbtalk I am definately not working as hard when climbing! Still charging the same rate for a day though, and I reckon we are doing loads more in a day now. Customers must love it!
  18. Just slung two long webbing lowering strops over my chin bar and tried doing dips off them. Bloody hell it's hard isn't it?
  19. Could I sling them off my doorway chinup bar then Martyn? And presumably they would be compatible with a dipping belt?
  20. Too wobbly for my weighted dips and expensive for what they are. Wouldn't mind trying a pair though. I'm going to have to spend £159 aren't I? Damn.
  21. If whales are so intelligent why do they keep swimming near Japan?
  22. Maybe you're right Mick. They might have improved since the late eighties when I last went! Might give it a go, but I still want to be able to do my dips at home!
  23. Cool. Has anyone tried eating it?
