  1. Hi Guys I have decided to keep it and put a new engine in. Have made serious amount of phone calls and looked at varoius replacement chippers but decided to stick with. Many thanks to all nine people(all within minutes of posting) who put some serious offers on the table. Thanks
  2. (Have you considered rebuilding the engine, it only might need a rebore and oversize pistons/rings.) Don t know how effective long term this is what sort of cost would it be.
  3. If people are interested then I think Its only fair to make me an offer. You ll know what its worth to you and I can see if its worth that for me. My local dealer who sold it has already made me an offer.
  4. I wish it was the head gasket. I ve done less than 200 hrs on it had it serviced 3 times since purchase. Had a re cored rad a few months ago. It has marks on the bores and cylinders so not good.
  5. Its a 2001 150 Bought it two years ago as a fully refurbed machine from the engine back. Looks alot newer and chipped like a animal compared to other 150s I ve used.
  6. Hi My engine on my chipper has just overheated and now need a replacement. Can anyone tell me where to get a replacement engine from. Or would anyone be interested in the chipper as they may have a replacement engine ready to go in or fancy a project.

  8. pice is about £6700 plus vat depending where you go. I would shop about a bit first.
  9. I like the pivot design if it make it less effort then i am for it. I must admit that i ve not used this style or seen it. I like the pivot idea, its narrow and thats its powered. But as you know there are lots of different machines out there so i welcome suggestions
  10. I know not another stump gring thead. I am looking at getting my first stump grinder. I have used many varieties over the years but like any one want to make the right choice. I like to look of the bandit side winder but would like to see if any ones used one(opinions please) or got any suggestions for something similar. I want it to be narrow but powerful to do 70-80% of stumps well. Whats your thoughts

  15. Hi I have this fungi fruiting body. Its next to a beech about 1ft away the tree has meripilus but need to know if this is younger fruiting body or a different fungi infecting the tree. Any help would be great

  19. These are my two wagons. The transit is only new to me in the last two months. The land Rover tipper is one I ve had a few years but has now had a refurb.
  20. Easy option to solve the debate buy both then your covered. Adam I am sure you can afford to do that with all your money.
  21. I would not say that it was unattended. We were in a fenced in garden with electric gates the gear was in a l200 25yds away. 3 guys on site and owners about most of the time. They did it right in front of us and we did not see. I do everything in my power to make my kit secure and visable

  23. I have my insurance with arbinsure(bartletts) and it taking days before i know if they are likely to pay out. This is taking the mick and I may think again about using them in the future surely it should not be this slow.
