  8. Keep positive bro! Positive mental attitude has kept my head above water for 17 years in this industry...Nothing can stand in my way cos i love Arb and everything about it...My Eldest brother who is my rock once told me that you know when you,re in your dream job when you,d almost do it for free! Well i,ve done tree work for mates, strangers and the elderly for supper..bottles of wine, boots or sometimes just a cuppa and a biscuit...i love it when i can make someone happy:thumbup:...i,m just a big softy...But most of all i do it just to be around my favourite things...Trees!

I don,t do social security so i have to do an honest days work..whatever the challenge. Yes Jim a bigger silky would have been nice but the silky is my specialist weapon of choice so i dare say i,d have done it with a "Pocket Boy" so the gomatro was adiquate...The stump was hard going but i day dreamed about making Spaghetti Bolognese when i got paid and that stump was standing in my way,so it was a case of head down and crack on!! And yes i will be on my bicycle tommorow morning, rain or shine seeking out the distant scream of a lone chainsaw...and in my Pannier will be my trusty Silky!
