Well Ollie..After a great interview with Mr Tony Kirkham and a tour of the gardens followed by a test climb on a beautiful large Cedrus Atalantica...i felt i had got my foot firmly in the door and a couple of weeks later recieved a letter....judge for yourselves. I was very proud of myself and won,t give up....Silver Medal?

  11. No Bushes.. But we did get to enjoy the 200 year old Minka house on our own when everyone left...A friend is all i am looking for these days and we shall be searching out interesting trees to see together but just as "Hug Buddies":001_smile:

On a whim,i decided to try an internet date after a conversation with a Half Malaysian/Irish girl i found interesting online ....Kew Gardens would be our first meeting.When she said she loved hugging trees and photography i suggested we did both in the "Big Garden"...Met her yesterday,had a great day and she was fine company and she loves trees which is good for me or i would have bored her to death She even climbed into a stone pine which made me chuckle.. Anyway,made a new good friend and we shall be searching out more trees to hug in the future and i can recommend Blind "tree hugging" dating to anyone... We had such a good date we forgot about closing time and had to use the emergency phone to Call security to let us out as we were the only people left in Kew at 9 o,clock... Now that,s commitment!!

  17. Get a camera with a decent lens and you need not be up the tree to achieve interesting shots.....
  18. I take a camera with me wherever i go and have hundereds of photos in the canopy on the ground,my work other peoples work,reccy climbs and anything that takes my fancy! You can never have too many photos...
  19. I like the one where the old guy gets butted off the roof and smashes onto the road below...The Spanish are true cowards Horns covered and the animal is tethered....
