  2. Really enjoyed using the slug...its got great throwing weight and NEVER got stuck! Used it with my two quid "mini" throwcube for medium trees and Petzel Eclipse for the tall stuff....got the Harrison Rocket out by mistake today....no more soggy throwbags for me on rainy days:rolleyes::rolleyes:

  4. i saw this harness before and almost bought it but settled for an Austria 3.1....but i do like the colour and" edelrid" embossed on the waist... keep us posted on it,s plus points and minus...

  10. Try a pulley saver,ZigZag and Pantin for a month and i'm sure you'll notice a difference:) 11.7mm for best results!

The outer coat is hard enough Matt:thumbup: used one on each tree we did plus a practice session at dinnner time of 100 plus shots to test it out.....Get one...its SLUGTASTIC!:cool: GREAT BALANCE ABOUT IT DURING THE THROW AND MONOUVERING IT AROUND THINGS ON THE WAY DOWN...OR UP:rolleyes: Swung it up a few branches today..perfect weigjt

Well done Slug inventor...(whoever you are:confused:) and thank you ro the person who sent me it....i will find it hard to give it back! installed the lead climber into a couple of planes and then at dinner time shot about 200 times into a tall Eucalyptus...never got it stuck...what a superb throwing weight...launches well and once around the intended branch the momentum of it swinging seems to last for ages making it simple to bring down accurately the desired route...Brilliant!...it is so strong and rigid.....i have as i said used weaver and H.R's for years...but now its the "slug" for me:thumbup::thumbup: p.s Morty check out the Slug;)
  14. Look what arrived through my letterbox yesterday....a "Slug!" Thank you so much to the person who did....now i LOVE a throwbag and have used weaver's and Harrison Rockets for a long time so i'm very interested to see how it performs:cool: i have paired it with "Zing-it" line in my home-made mini-cube which cost me 2 quid:thumbup:

  20. Well....I,m back in London...the crowds and the noise..and even the wildlife has attitude...this wagtail followed me into the underground, inside the cafe and then to my seat!
