  1. Here's to the Spring...finally here...or is it the summer? Whatever..things are warming up:):)

Bit of a strange day...I was supposed to be attending a first aid course today (I've been on at least 20 first aid courses!)...and as luck would have it, it was cancelled:cool: so I reckon thats a sign that i have done enough..was given the afternoon off so enjoyed the lovely warm sunshine and sweet chilli pork then a wander around the local vintage car showroom here in Kew:thumbup:
  3. Looking forward to it...too! Had a reccy climb on Sunday and the weeked before...going to try to do one a week...I'm loving it!

  5. I'm a Durham lad and went to the Miners Gala every year for most of my life..saw some pit men reduced to broken men during the course of the miner's strike and felt sad after each mine closed....
  6. After seeing those shiney pictures I may have to try one of these! Not sure about the one with the Americsn flag on though....lookks like a Nuke!
  7. Made a couple of very useful purchases this weekend....My favourite being my new Silky Natanoko(i,ve had 3 or 4 and get a year or so on each blade)...the perfect hand saw.

  13. It's great Pete as you well know for cutting large braches and with a flat blade, great for accurate directional cuts....best handsaw....Fact.

  15. Went to Honey Brothers this morning and with Reccy climbs good weather etc.. looming...(And for work) bought a Stein cube+50 metres of LIROS "Magic speed" to enhance my already brilliant SLUG! Going Branch fishing tommorow morning in a park somewhere in London......

  17. No books in mine Rob...only throwline:rolleyes: but it was just an experiment and with my mind on Reccy climbs this time if year.....I bought a stein cube and 50 metres of Liros "magic speed"....and my personal favourite, a silky Natanoko:thumbup:
  18. Sorted...limited myself to £100 and only spent 92!...thanks to the bloke who bought the Spiderjack and let me get a shot of his Duccati:cool:

A beautiful start to the day...and I have just noticed my new shiney object glinting in the morning sunshine...A SUGI-HARA chainsaw bar for my MS200T...thanks for the quick delivery Mr Rob D:thumbup: I am a MASSIVE fan of Japanese Steel..Silky saw's are the best hand saws...Japanese cars etc...etc...this too looks well constructed...it has a great tapered shape and is 14 inch....very pleased.:)
