  1. it,s nice and fresh. for working in I prefer this to the high summer.
  2. Just take care of them...think of the load your feet take in a lifetime!...let alone what they put up with at work. Reward them with a quality pair of warm dry boots each morning. It's like someone once said,"Two of the most important things in life are,a good pair of boots and a good bed.If you're not in one you're in the other"....I have both:)

  5. My days of leaving boots in the truck or in a damp yard portacabin are long gone...at every opportunity they are dried thouroughly. Nothing worse than a cold wet boot on your foot on a winter morning.These are 3 years old now and never let one droplet of water in!
  6. Very cold out this morning so a quick brekkie of Fresh baked granary and tomatos and half a cup of black coffee.need to get some photos before the frost goes.
  7. Very cold frost everywhere...off out to take some pictures!
  8. It's a completely clear sky...and therefore the temperature has dropped which is fine by me...helps me focus which I need to do right now. Got two days work booked in with some great trees to climb and that's it. I feel I may be off in search of work.

  11. in Tuckers time is irellevent and even stands still...so you could arrive this Saturday and just get on the cizzzer for a week

  14. The roads are always kept well clear up here...we are very used to the white stuff...I hope we have lots of it! Gritters have been out just now.

  17. 4 years for mine with only a couple of frayed stitches on a leg loop....
  18. Most loads can be managed one handed I found so the ankle nipper is always to side of me. If it has to be encouraged over a bump I turn to face it a pull both handed.
  19. Al,that is a beautiful sight! Practice by loading it up with cushions and moving them from one room to another:D but seriously don't forget to tape those stoppers! And Welcome to the world of improved brash and timber handling.

  21. I don,t see any problem with that other than it has no visor but if you cut with your eyes closed then all good:thumbup1:
