Very like the STX...nice machine..I would still wear eye protection. Makes me wince when I see people using chainsaws or machinery like feeding a chipper with visor up! We only have one pair of eye balls...I knew a farmer who had no front teeth because a chipper spat out a log at him.

Very good first post! There is an art to leaving brash ready to chip and just by what you wrote I believe you have the nack..nothing worse than turning up to find a birds nest...p.s Stacked brash is a pet hate of mine...chip as you go in my opinion.

Put it this way...I can definately recommend having six weeks off the alcohol then sharing a couple of bottles of Pinot with a beautiful woman! Met at my favourite Thai restaurant....lovely evening. Even got a lift home a few hours later. Woke up with a big smile on my face and a couple of promising messages regarding work... Xmas is looking like it could be a good one!

When I got home I had two messages...first message, could I please take a look at a tree round the corner...small pear tree..could I take it down?...but baby was asleep upstairs so could I make noise on another day? "I can do it silently if you like", I said.
