  1. It was a cold start indeed...ear muffs on the hot air blowers all the way to the job that's for sure.various pruning work for an old friend.he was very specific in what he wanted.Lifts but strategic branches left for screening out...I'm very happy to get up and the customer point and I cut.

  3. Press "+" bottom left. Then top right press "three dots" this will give you the option to attatch picture.choose a picture like this lovely Silky Machete and press arrow "top right"
  4. Nice Sunrise Jiggy! I do like radio4 Breffy but not politics...not my thing...too much scandal and lies...I live in a world without such things. Im only interested in Trees...not been able to post pics Jon until I got a EiFi hotspot...I've been cut off for not paying my bill.....should be back on tommorow night after this job.

  8. The most important thing on a cold day. Warm dry boots and kit to start...if it rains, it rains. But to be warm and dry when you start IS EVERYTHING;)
  9. Snow would be nice but may only get rain today.
  10. it's very cold outside with a bit of ice but could turn wetter later on so I will be up my first tree at 8 and will power through. A great couple of days work.... hopefully get some good pictures... if the light is favourable.

So far I have learnt via BBC world service that an electric eel can immobalise and mobalise it's victims at will remotely with pulses that are 2 to 4 times more voltage than comes out of your wall socket...I feel informed...better than hearing what happened in Coronation Street the night before...shipping forcast has begun so its time to hit the shower!
  12. I am a morning person and usually switched on and raring to go the moment I open my eyes so I can give the coffee a miss but I do require music. Not quiet background radio but headphones on...YouTube the right tune for the day and crank it up! But by the time I'm having my first meal I like Radio 4 on.thats how I like to recieve my news...I"m not a newspaper of breakfast t.v man.
  13. Nice early start...first job, warm up the climber! Piping hot pea and ham with usual granary slice possibly with a smear of pease pudding.Did get up at 4 but spent an hour trawling Arbtalk.

    Nice post M.B. I too have the most amazing dreams since altering my lifestyle but I havent touched butter for 7 weeks now and keep away from fat.

Thought I had an empty day before the big push...but got a call from a Damsel in distress...simply took out two small connies that had died a replanted with new ones...that paid for half a tank of diesel...look at the mug she made my coffee in....she is an old aquaintance when she saw how much I liked it said she was getting me one for Xmas...Bonus! I have some great friends surrounding me right now..feel blessed:)
