  14. It's been great working with Marc again....he is a no nonsense bloke who just wants to get the job done then go home to chill with his familly. Mr and Mrs Lewis always make me feel like a part of their familly and its a second home for me...and for a travelling Tree Surgeon (which is my prefered title) that's cool. last job for me here in dorset...birch bashing then reducing...time to move on...
  15. With help from his mate Matt.
  16. Beautiful location near king Alfred's tower
  17. Day 2 of work...Both still suffering but I am on the Mend wheras Marc was in a bad way.Luckily Mrs Lewis had given me a special Man-flu tissue as I was really-really poorly:( Anyway we got to site..a beautiful tree close to a large Redwood Marc had previously tieded the top of due to 30+ foot of it failing a while back..Magnificant large specamin. Any guesses what sort of tree it is? His first time using blue tongue with a ZigZag...he took to it well as he reduced some long heavy laterals
  18. Nice Fox
  19. Yeah I've dived in there a couple of times recently Ted but found it empty.
  20. A great day for Team Protos! But we both needed a Cider or two after that....(both suffering from stages of chest infection.) But we got the job done and the customer was delighted with the work...beech inspection and birch dismantles today, then off to Devon!
  21. But I got away from it after much cursing...installed Marc on one side with my spare Blue Tongue rope so he could try it but I wanted him to have it anyway.
  22. All the way up it was a thick and quite old rose...noticed it at the bottom but didn't realise how extensive within the tree it was until I stepped off the ladder and started to get to anchor point.
  23. That was a Holm Oak and then I got up the final tree. A Beautiful Lucombe Oak.....with a nasty suprise at the top of the ladder!
  24. More coffee and more pruning...one more tree after this crown lift from Marc then it's my turn again.
