  2. No I have all my tickets many times over. Got three chipper tickets....in London at the largest firms you get the oppertnity to get your tickets every year.
  3. I'm up for that Orchard...may have a Date in Penrith...two birds with one stone.

  6. nothing to do with spelling mate...I was having a lighthearted dig.
  7. Wetter!...but not better:001_rolleyes:
  8. Never met him but after reading the original post and the words of respect from members I,d like to offer my thoughts to him and his family. Clearly a much loved man.....
  9. what,s a prussick?
  10. I don't have much feeling in my fingertips so gloves turns me into the most heavy handed ham fisted person..when climbing or using a saw I prefer using my bare hands...you need a hand up in sunny Cumbria at all this week?
  11. £3.99 from Homebase. felt like a very light and flexible second skin but other than dragging of feeding a chipper I can,t wear gloves.
  12. good post Mr Goat. Trolley is a great investment that pays itself back very quickly and your body (and staff) will thank you for it.
  13. You are going to Absolutely love it mate! the only modification (other than solid tyres) that it will need is that you tape the rubber stoppers to the "Golf clubs" or you WILL lose them.
  14. I,m sure there are hot saws in the U.k.
  15. The Binford...wowza that was the fastest!
  16. You always look like you have a "Chip on your shoulder" Joseph:D:D
  17. Stephen I see you have an Iron horse...what a machine! Big fan of your set ups. Your old Mog would be in my Dream set up (not City Suburban colours though)
  18. So not really a lot to report today Jon....
  19. Then went to tip at Joseph's. He's just bought a little Entec and is very pleased with it. Cheap and cheerful.
  20. All the gear I needed to take this down nicely hung up (i try never to put my kit on soil)ready to put on a reduce this to logs and a mound of green and they decide to just have a couple of foot off the top....I'm not bitter...it's their tree and I have £30 more than I had this morning;)
  21. Not much Jon..no work this week....hammered the internet searching this morning...used my last pounds taxing my vehicle which was very important. A neighbour asked me to remove a connie for them then changed their mind and just asked for it to be bashed down a bit.bought some great gloves for it expecting Sap Central..very lightweight but cast them aside after 5 minutes....just can't work in gloves...still got £30 for the job..it all adds up and I have a couple of big climbs next week.hopefully a day or two down near you with Marc.
  22. Yeah I'm well aware of how good the Sordins with the red band are.and I know the top of the range peltor muffs are extremely good...I still wouldn't give up everything else the Protos has to offer. (Remember I'm pretty much mutton Jeff) still don't want to be a white power ranger...they came way after my time..I'm from the Captain Scarlet era.
  23. Blue T...trust me its certainly visible enough. and what a rope!
  24. Good info Dan...my main reason for using the Protos is its completely non snag and comfort superb all round vision and the fact you feel so protected Skull wise...my hearing diminished years ago mainly from very loud music events unfortunately...my mother says I get louder every year....maybe thats why the defenders seem ok to me. Ive used every lid over the last 20 years available and this is the most capable ive worn...but bearing in mind what both you and Matty F have found out then I think Pfanner should address this. By the way, the last thing I want to look like is a Ninja!.....I,ve wanted to be a Stormtrooper ever since the first Star Wars.
