  5. It,s true Paul,climbing style/method has made going up,moving about and coming down a lot easier and in some systems like SRT effortless. I changed from years on a prussick to a Spiderjack a few years ago and now on a ZigZag it has saved a lot of fatigue. Add to that friction savers,pantins etc and climbing trees could be done indefinitely. But I am very interested in getting into SRT (rope runner) like yourself as I shall soon be 47.
  6. They seem un-rippable! On a par with Pfanner or better in my opinion
  7. Is looking like a thumbs up all round for SIP's. They are very well made.

  10. I like all the good stuff. Black Pudding,White Pudding ,Tripe etc:001_smile: Bath Chaps are also on my menu.
  11. SIP,s are my favourite all time chainsaw protective trouser. Had all the early Oregon and the newer Pfanner. Had a couple of pairs of X-fit and several pairs of Hi-Flex but SIP Progress are the one,s for me (until I find something better)
  12. I do love haggis. This was quite an expensive one but a scottish mate read "an ode to the haggis" poem as it was cut and twas delicious
  13. will let you see later Jon...had a Special Branch day on Friday then with Trooper Harry on Saturday and got some great photos but I will tell you about today later when I,m finished here.all very good though.Did have an excellent night last night on the Haggis!

  17. Tree pro do look good...mesh goggles is a great option but not sure about ear plugs.
  18. I did wonder about the fell into the field option too...I know Adam said it was boggy.
  19. I like working in cemeteries but they do require a lot of thought and the tidy up isn't as straight forward as raking a domestic lawn.But they are interesting places to work.you did a good job there Adam gobbing those leaders back over using the tip tie.
