  1. Battling through a Spikey hole ridden Connie hedge is like a rite of passage...puts hairs on your chest....and rips in your hi-flex.

  4. What a day!...got a lift to work and nearly ploughed into this.
  5. It was a flash in the pan moment for me Bolam....i quickly swapped sides while nobody was looking and..... "Eureka!" 😆
  6. Last used a prussick about three years ago....still have one in my kit bag but The Spiderjack and ZigZag took me down the route of a more efficient and enjoyable climbing style.

  8. VERY windy here in Durham last night....and this greeted us on the way to work. Dragged it off the road....hammering it down with rain.

  10. Very true Joe...it's close quarter saw work and a lot of branch manipulation and add to that the balance of a cat....it is indeed a skill to do it efficiently otherwise it ends up a horrible woody train wreck that can be a nightmare to Finnish.

  13. Used to be a regular occurance.....but nowadays not very often ..shame as i rather like the challenge of a wobbly cluttered connie bash.

  16. But i like to learn so i get a lesson at every stage...quite interesting....
  17. I don't...but the team leader at AMEY does along with the other team leaders....
  18. Can't wait to get some beech through it....you can really feel the 45hp Turbo power!
  19. Put a couple of hours on it today and kept up with two climbers and the bucket monkey...it ate a lot of Ash,Sycamore,Cherry and hawthorn...very impressed with it's performance.
