  1. Our victron system stopped accepting the power. Said the htz was 33-88 ish & voltage I saw was 170-250. Son saw 90 at one point. On the genny it reported 54htz but voltage all over. The voltage on the scope are from the main output but never seem to make sense. The service agent sent me a new AVR. That improved things lots & my Victrons accepted the power. But on closing it all up I spotted that a terminal had fractured on some main winding wires. Fitting a new terminal has now fixed it.
  2. Second pic was also measured at a different point so I think inverted the wave.
  3. Hoping @gensetsteve sees this. What do you think is causing this on my single phase 14kVa brushless generator? First pic is is off load. Second with 600 watts load.
  4. I agree, I have the 220 with the longer bar option. Once you get used to using chain speed & not letting it chug to cut it will munch through some big bits. Chain needs to be spot on sharp too.

    Payload

You need to know the vehicles GTW to know you are safe.
  6. Justme

    Payload

WRONG WRONG WRONG. The vehicle does not have to be capable of towing the plated weight, only the real actual weight at the time. Plated weight is used for actual over loading or for licences not towing capacity.

    Payload

Fear not. The GTW limit is real weight not plate weights. Re still having the full payload when towing, it depends. Some makes allow say towing 3000kg & 1000kg payload BUT not at same time. Tow 3000kg & it could be a load limit of 500kg. Very common with pickups. What is your unladen, MAM & GTW
  8. Just found AP300 up to 78 mins on level 1 but only 12 mins on boost. So could be about 15 mins on boost with an AP300s.
  9. Does anyone know how long one of these would last on an AP300s battery?
  10. Sadly you were mislead. All trailer made since 2014 need to have an IVA / COC / Type approval. Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) inspection manual: trailers - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK How trailers are inspected when they're being approved under the Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) scheme to make sure... Sub 750kg trailers are class 01 & need approval.
  11. No you have masked the symptoms. The fault will still be there.
  12. As above that will be over 750kg & need a braked trailer. My wp30 is smack on 750kg with the lifter hydraulic oil & a tank of gas, With the extra length of the conveyor & bigger ram, extra pump ext it will be well over. New they start at about £12k + vat.
  13. not grey at all. For the IVA plant exemption it needs to be self powered mobile ie it drives, The exemption does not apply to trailers.

    404 chain

Got the micrometer out & its def 1.6mm. Cheers all.

    404 chain

So yours is 1.6mm then. I best measure mine to be sure as it has two bars, the original and a second one that I dont know if its standard or not. That makes life easier as I was struggling to find 2mm in the UK apart from a reel of rotatec.

    404 chain

I have just bought a Duun 420. It uses 404 chain. That seems to be available in 1.6mm & 2mm. Which do I need as none of the specs seem to say & no markings on existing chain either.
  17. I have messaged you.
  18. I just paid 43.67p per L on 900L + 5%vat
  19. So its not legal in the UK as it does not have an IVA. The 750kg is a red herring. Trailer are trailers & all need IVA / type aproval.
  20. I have messaged you.
  21. How many days work?
  22. It actually makes sense. It levels the payload you can carry to comparable to an ICE van & you have to take training (but no test) similar to taking a C1 course.
  23. For that volume is it worth buying a processor? 3 or 4 lorry loads is less than two weeks work. Hire in as needed.
  24. No, not using the Duun yet. It was with a wp30.
  25. Its either or. The drive pumps are different as is the saw motor. The ram is the same The specs are vague re the 230v being single phase or not. But quote 63amps trips.
