  1. The ST20b has been around since 2008 with the turntable and barring 1 or 2 design improvements is still the same very capable 13hp pedestrian stump grinder it was then and is more than a match for the other grinders in its class. We are running a promotion on orders placed before the end of May 2015 offering New FSI ST20b stump grinders c/w 1 spare set of cutting teeth and 12 months warranty for £3,700.00 + VAT. Please give me a call or drop me pm for more information. 07880 646067
  2. We are looking for a service engineer for our Altrincham depot. Your duties will include maintaining our growing fleet of chippers, shredders, stump grinders and trailers as well as routine maintenance, repair and fault finding on customer machines. It would be great if you have experience of wood chippers but if you have experience of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics, bearings, belt drives and drum brakes we will provide training to help you apply your knowledge to our product range. Whilst technical ability is obviously essential, it is your positive attitude, an ability to work unsupervised and the interpersonal skills to talk directly to customers that will set you apart. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and age groups. Please send me your CV at [email protected]
  3. If Carlsberg made stump grinders They would make this one Give us a call for more info. 07880 646067
  4. I think you may be getting the TW240TDHB(t) mixed up with the TW230DHB, the TW240 is a turntable sub 750kg machine which does have a pressed steel light weight hitch. The TW230 is a 750kg in-line trailed chipper with the 35hp Kubota engine, this chipper is to replace the TW150 and has some excelent features including the same lockable, cast hitch as the TW190, double sided blades, LED lights, remote centralised greasing for the main rotor, and feed roller bearings, 66kg flywheel and a class leading 6" x 9" in-feed. well worth a try:thumbup1:
  5. I will be happy to arrange a demo of the FSI ST20B for you if you would like to try one. Give me a call 07880 646067 Cheers
  6. Just had an update that this picture was taken down south not round Liverpool but thanks for your comments and any more news on our stolen machine will be greatly appreciated
  7. Don't know who's it is, we have not heard from any of our Customers, we have contacted the Police to see if it is our stolen one but that is probably miles away by now????
  8. A Customer of ours sent this picture to us of a Timberwolf TW230DHB near Liverpool yesterday, I hope all involved were ok?
  9. Already on mate thanks
  10. We have had a chipper stolen whilst it was out on hire, the Timberwolf TW230DHB disappeared whilst on hire to a contractor in the Manchester area, the exact time and place it went is not known. If you are offered a low hour Timberwolf TW230DHB please let me know as this model was only launched in September last year and there are very few, if any used TW230s about. Thanks for you help Phil 07880 646067
  11. Did not know there was a wagon to jump on, I am not slating anyone, nor am I wanting to get anyones back up, as I have already said previously in this thread I just think it is very strange if the Manufacturer is not listing all their UK Importers, especially when the one they are not listing has the biggest customer base and is the only one with a track record of selling Jensen machines!! It does not stack up in my eyes:confused:
  12. I may be wrong but I still wonder why Redwoods have been removed from the Jensen website and replaced with 4 other importers, one of which is on their doorstep???? It makes no sense for Jensen not to list Redwood as an importer but great sense for Redwood to advertise as an importer to keep customers coming to them with enquiries. Just my opinion!
  13. I don't think anyone is putting knives in Redwood's back but the Jensen website does not show Redwood as an Importer, this is very strange if they are still working with Redwood as they risk just this type of uncertainty amongst Jensen users
  14. I have just had a look at the Jensen website and there are now 4 Importers / Dealers listed for Jensen in the UK and Redwood are not one of them. Interesting:confused1:
  15. Samiad You mention that your budget is the lower end, this does not mean you have to settle for a lower quality chipper, we are your local Timberwolf Dealer and we have a TW230DHB on our demo fleet that I will be happy to bring to you to try, you will be impressed. We arebased in Altrincham so fairly local to you! Drop me a pm or give me a call on 07880 646067:call2:
  16. There was an issue with the earlier breathers that were fitted, there is a retro fit kit that is available from your Timberwolf dealer, contact them and they should sort it for you foc.
  17. I would suggest you have a look at the FSI ST20B pedestrian grinder, excellent value for money with a turntable and large 370mm cutting wheel and will fit through standard doorways with ease. Demo available and machines in stock We have depots in Cannock and Altrincham. Give me a call 07880 646067 Phil:thumbup1:
  18. The fuel tank on the TW230 is the same size as it is on the TW150DHB and VTR with the same engine there should not be too much difference in chipping time:thumbup:
  19. Obviously cannot speak for your local dealer but we have priced them within a few hundred pounds of the TW150, from speaking with other dealers on the stand at the show we are all pricing around the same ballpark.
  20. Hodge, I will have one at home with me next week, I am only a few miles away from you, if you want me to bring it up for you to try give me a call 07880 646067:thumbup1:
  21. I've used and sold both, I know which way I would go:sneaky2: Value for money, Dealer back up, far more comprehensive warranty, Sub 750kg, UK built with a great pedigree:thumbup: Timberwolf all the way:thumbup: But the best thing is, try it and see for yourself??????
  22. We now have our TW230DHB demonstration machine, give me a call if you would like to arrange a demo. Its Quality:crazy: Cheers 07880 646067:call:
  23. might be worth touching base with any tipper truck owners you may know, they use the nets and may have a torn 1 you could cut a bit out of. Happy hunting
  24. As Daveindales says, you will reduce the amount of debris blown out if you fit a tarpaulin on the top of the body, even better is a small load net that will let the air out but not the leaves etc, a tarp directs all the air and debris back out towards the chipper but it would be better than nothing Have a look on here:thumbup1: Load Restraining & Securing - Load Restraining Nets - 2.5m x 2.5m Close Mesh Load Restraining Net - Vehicle Nets, Transport Nets, Safety Nets, Cargo Nets, Sports, Luggage, Elasticated Netting
  25. The RAL number is RAL 2004 Cheers
