  2. Me? I'm bringing the battery operated clippers and a camcorder, searching for drunken fools who may have ribbed me in any way during this year. haha bzzzzzzzzz
  3. haha, Do you ever get bored of that "incident" getting brought up???
  4. Especially not if your gonna tip it over a few months down the line:lol: I'm gonna buy beer and flip flops
  5. yeah bring Massive Joe the tree stump goblin.
  6. Ah ha, cheers Dean. So the only way that would come in to the equation would be for the inspector to screw it in him self to the correct torque and then be able to pass the harness.
  7. The new Petzl sequoia's gold rings have small screws to allow replacement of the main bridge, or for attaching swivels etc to the bridge. Manufacturers guidelines state that the small screws must be put in to a certain torque rating and put in with Lock-tite. Do you, or would you have the means to check the torque rating of the screws on a Loler check? If so, would your torque wrench also have to be checked to assure callobration??? Just a question.
  8. Sorry, I meant you can slack tend any friction hitch with a pulley but some "break" and slide alot easier. Then again I understood "self tending" to mean you pull your rope, your pulley see's to your knot. Same as if you just go up hand over hand and your groundie pulls the other end, the knot tends to itself??? Any more confused??
  9. That was an interesting read at 3:42 a.m.. I wonder if I took anything in.?
  10. Haha, forgot i'd put that. He may have to pack you something up from home then. Should be a good day. Plus if it's usual grey weather them suvverners will get half way up the M1 and suddenly have to be somewhere else.
  11. well done my man. Happy times. Do you think your 2 girls will dote over their younger brother???
  12. I beg to differ. I can think of soooo many things worse than having chain oil all over you. Like for instance being on fire??:cursing:haha
  13. Check the actual tipper operation is a proper 4 stage ram from the cab end and not one of those rubbish scissor lift things from the rear.
  14. haha, this thread has made me laugh so much. Why, though, did you launch the poor critter into the next conifer instead of the nearest Hopper. lol
  15. Haha, i bet the chip has been sprayed into the bushes just out of shot.
  16. Yeah, spear and slash cuts aswell. I'm interested. I know what Pete Mc looks like, so I will hunt him down. In a nice way.
  17. Doesn't Pete owe you from them sandwiches??? (Sarnie snuffler) He could pay your share mate:001_tt2: I'll try and coax a few "HULLians" along for the day.
  18. yeah I always tip and then top up. as for caps popping off, thats from putting ever so slightly too much oil in and the pressure is too much to get the cap on properly I think. My O26c has proper screw caps and they do my head in.
  19. judging by the camera angle, there must have been at least another in the tree next door, too many people with harnesses on IMO.
  20. In esscence, any friction hitch will self tend with a pulley behind becuase the pulley is just doing your hands job for you. However a Blakes will not "break" like a v.t so can't run as smoothly up the rope. I've tried.
