Yeah it is. They've expanded quite a bit. I joined them when they set up our satalite yard at Newbury a year ago.

Well this should contain an awesome picture of a female red deer, except I forgot to charge the camera batteries, doh! Was climbing in the local woods again today and as a result of a not very self retrieving, self retrieving cambium saver had just started going back up the tree when this deer wanders over! I could tell it knew I was around somewhere but it seemed confused that it couldn't see me, as it was only looking at ground level! I must have only been about 15ft away from it It did eventually look up and see me and the expression on its face was so comical I could almost imagine it thinking WTF?? how come the human is up a tree?? even then it didn't run away just stood there staring at me for ages before eventually wandering off.

Yeah just make sure its not the branch fork that the hammock is tied on the end of Your view looks a lot more impressive than mine! Yeah you can sleep in them, I even have a little tent thing that goes over mine, which seemed like a good idea when I bought it to prevent it becoming a treebathtub in our rainy climate, but as yet haven't tried it out I've only slept during the day in mine. Surprisingly comfy, despite having to keep a harness on for obvious reasons

Of course! My house mates knew where I was and I had my phone with me. A treeboat is a hammock made by New Tribe. Horribly expensive but worth every penny New Tribe store

Well next time I'm heading out I'll try and plan in advance and put a heads-up on here. I was in Sulham Wood just out of Tilehurst. Had to do a bit of bush-wacking to find something decent that wasn't right on a footpath but seek and ye shall find I'm open to suggestions for other locations though.

Seeing as it was a lovely sunny day today, and it had been far too long since I'd last been climbing, decided to chuck some kit in a hiking rucksack and head into the local woods for a bit of a chill out in the treeboat: Btw if anyone ever fancies meeting up for reccy climbing in the south then give me a shout, seeing as I'm not climbing at work at the mo I could do with the practice

Sunburn? - Check Deflated bank balance? - Check Yup was a good chilled out day at the arb show Can't comment on overpriced food or warm beer as I didn't sample either but the icecream was awesome and was great to catch up with people and meet a few new faces

In which case you can feel smug in the knowledge that your home made one was far superior to a modern bought one. Surely that must earn you extra bonus points?!

Oh yeah I forgot mine used to do that! I unpicked the elastics, crossed them over (like they are on an Edelrid Tree Magic) then machine sewed them back on again. Problem solved! Though I guess that blows my theory that the Skylotec takes less time to adjustment to fit...

You've really got to try them both out to be honest. I love my Skylotec but I did also try a treemotion before I bought anything and found it very uncomfortable. I know others who have them though and say they are best harness they've had. Maybe I didn't spend long enough setting it up but I think I just wasn't the right shape for it and thats what I love about the skylotec, it was like an armchair from the word go without having to spend hours fiddling with all the adjusters!

Thats awesome! You have a very luck wife:thumbup1: No back to it but I guess you just position it up against a wall and problem solved. I think the portable outdoor toilet seat is a great idea, every van should have one. Especially useful for squashing prickly weeds out the way as well, no more nettle rash where you'd rather not have it :lol:
