  1. Does anyone produce large size woodchip possibly G 100 with no smalls The guy was told the best chipper to produce this was a screw type He was told you have to have no smalls in it to produce the correct type of gases , can anyone help please
  2. No both tyres have the same pressure in , might put water in to ballast them

I had a lucky escape , I rented a yard for firewood and general dumping ground for around 15 years without a problem Just off a main road , I had already run the yard down with readiness for a yard move I got a phone call asking why I wasn't paying business rates , I told him that I was packing in , and was asked to prove it I asked why he was asking and was told that they knew about me for a long time but weren't botherd until now when they need to claw some money back , and that they were trawling the internet for more CLIENTS so be carefull

  11. Yes its just over the hill from us , we got the same storm , 1 mile down the road it was golf ball size The wife said it was 16500 pains of glass that went at the nurseries
  12. what a day yesterday and last night Hailstones the size of golf balls , the local garden centre lost 6500 paines of glass , the trees took a real hammering , conservetries smashed , green house smashed , cars written off Then a big electrical storm and heavy rain At least its a bit cooler tonight , but more storms forcast

  14. yes the small teleporters are good , but will it have enough grunt to run the splitter properly

  16. Just wondering if anyone powers a log splitter from a forklift, the splitter is a 12 tonne 2 speed joby I used to run it from a telehandler , which worked very well I have now moved into a lower shed , and don't want to buy another tractor , but need a forklift

  18. There are a few different ratios about I intend to weigh and measure when I get time I have been told around 3 cube of loose chip per tonne / and 4 ish per dry tonne Maybe someone has already done this

  20. Not used an insert before , but have spent hours and hours sharpening blades A tct stays sharp for a lot longer but you have to send them away to resharpen
  21. Ernest Bennet in darlington They did all of our blades until a couple of years ago , in fact I think I have a couple of old blades They also make the blades so you could have a tct one made
  22. Not sure I think they all have different ways 1 that is getting built is an avlin blanche ?? continuous drier home built on a large farm Another farmer has put a drying floor in to dry corn and chip
  23. Yes go for it It is the way to go better quality dry chip There are at least 6 drying estates or farmers in a 25 mile radius of me , drying chip and 3 or 4 of them dry logs and they are getting paid to do it
