Where abouts are you. I have a HH1 that I’m not using at the moment. You could borrow it to have a go but I’d want it back really. I don’t think the HH1 is a great deal different from the HH2. I would have thought close enough for a trial climb. The main difference is which cords you choose for whichever rope. I tried loads of different combos and there’s massive differences. -

We’ve been climbing a similar time and I think we are a similar age. I had to hang my harness up in November for permanent health reasons and now I’ve had an improvement I cannot wait to get back at a few silky jobs on a sunny day. I’m sure there’ll be opportunities to enjoy a few select jobs in the future just for the fun of it. Harness is hung up not binned hopefully. Haha. All the best. -
I drilled through my metal shanks to fit a kiwiklimber ascender ages ago and never had any problem with it whatsoever. I can’t find the pic but I put it on a thread about the stein spikes a good few months ago if you saw that.

My parents once had a load of stuff off their boat shipped back after it being sold. It was a man and a van type set up. He charged by volume/estimated wait sat on a pallet. Once in England, he did the reverse to keep the costs down. There might well be a similar service you can find. Maybe have a chat with a local boat yard/marina. (Don’t know how local that is to you)

Sorry I've just realised I didn't mention in first post that mine weren't stein but that's why I had to just bolt them on. It works perfectly well half way up though.

Both the monkey puzzle and the palm are jobs where you hope the customer wants to keep all that lovely wood chip for mulch and log for firewood. Haha.

I've just replaced a couple of grabber at2 from oponeo.com It's twice now that I've been able to get hold of at2's after they have stopped doing them - from oponeo. As for the mileage that some people get from their tyres [emoji51] - I must be a really bad driver. Or driving 6-7 times faster! [emoji15] Not that I think that I try to drive that efficiently but... I think I did about 3-4 years on mine before it needed a shuffle on the straps. So a regular movement every now and then will be good. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
