@gobbypunk ropes n pulleys mate, wireropeshop have them cheap, cut to fit an pulley each end to lift it up like a roller blind. Scaffold pipe at bottom. Join it with those sailmakers eyelet punch sets. K

Spike up it and flip the top off, OR.... Winch n ground anchor with rebar pins n angle iron. Gets the pull right where you want it. K

Its RolledSteelJoist, but thats a cracking job mate. Only mention i will make is cap those corners to stop any water penetration on the end grain of the planks. Bit of batten or summat n mastic. K
