Cool...I hope it paves the way for more programs about arboriculture. It did not set out to define arboriculture, or at least that was not the feeling I got from it and I dont think that woukd be a good thing anyway. I will be watching the rest of the series with interest for sure!!

Cool...personally I want to see an 8mm spliced eye version of the ocean polyester before I am really happy that the guys have my best interests at heart...it plays real friendly without all the messin' about with knot configurations yeah!!!

Pass on any cost to the " parish " council is it? Otherwise make it clear that time is money. Advise to the best of your ability and move on.If you are out of your depth, seek professional advice or delegate. The issue of preservation can be emotive at times whilst the isue of safety is unequivocal.

Dont know what I was expecting, perhaps someththing more than that, stuff that I didnt already know. I dont want to decry the contribution the show makes to arboriculture, but I was picking holes the whole way thru; My job is nothing like that ?

Its a bit less if you book early and I think you might get your reading obligation for nowt if you play your cards right...but all the same, I might just end up glazing over. Does anyone know how long a lecture runs for instance? By the way, anyone got a lead on Mike Ellison's plastic hammer approach to tree decay?

I was considering the cost of actually attending this seminar. X11 Trees, roots soil fungi . Its a 1 day affair but looks set to try and deliver 6 lectures in that day. Has anyone here sat thru' such a program and if so, just how much of it then falls on deaf ears and weary grey matter...I mean, 6 lectures seems a bit ambitious, or have they simply got nothing much to say?? Feedback appreciated....

I used the site some months back when researching but also on behalf of a colleague whom it seems was all but taken in by the desire to become a bat expert. As I recall, I was lead a merry little dance in search of usable and accessible info, all over the net. What you have presented this time is a great deal more helpful mate. Well done. Can I say that I dont actually find the "funky" colours work very well. Sure, they look good but I want to read the site, not look at it. Its a difficult thing to get a measure of. I used to work in television and the rock n roll world , what it looks like is all important. It must also be effective and do what you want it to tho'. Oh well, at the end of the day its perhaps a matter of taste. I just dont find it that easy to read. -

So I typed the word as spelt by tony into the desktop dictionary and came up blank...mmmm...referred to the dictionary and a version, the definition of which youhave profferred is associated only it wasnt spelt like that....hence the odea, albeit an intellectual one springs to mind...stay with it pop pickers..!! neologism....duh
