  14. my first go at reducing a conifer tree
  15. we have the 13 hp one they are very good at eating hedge trimmings they love conifers our one ent got a feed on it. the only thing with it we fine u have to hold on to the wood you put through it eg 70mm hardwood as it trys to snach it from u and stalls the machine and when its wet with most things u may as well leave it at home. we had a demo on the 18 hp one that was some bit off kit but 9k. u seem to be lookin for a chippers or shredders around the same kind off thing i was lookin for hedge trimmings, conifers small wood. i took a year off hirin diffrent machines as i dont want to buy the wrong one and the best i found was the jo beau when we hired that it rained most the week and still worked really well best thing to do mate is get some demos or hire stuff when u get a job where u can use it and then u fine the best machine for u
  16. after bein off ill today and being bored most the day thats good lol
  17. Arbutus Andrachnoides, holly , Cotoneaster family is a big evergreen family off small trees does that help u
  18. i did wonder if it was that cedar at hinchingbrooke school in ur picture. i remember that tree before that limb fell out as i drive past it most days
  19. have u had a look at sealen http://www.saelen-industrie.com have a look as look look quit good
  20. has any one on here used the greenmech gmr and the jo beau just wondered what the diffrence between the to machines where as i do alot off narrow access stuff .
  21. if i was u i would try to hire a timberwolf 13/75 and see what u think off it as i hired one yeh thought it was a good machine till i hired the jo beau. the last thing u want to do is buy a machine you dont get on with. a jo beau is a amazing chipper to use. 2 things i dont like about the timberwolf is the hopper infeed i think is to heigh and that the chippings come out the side where as the jo beau u can fire the chips straight into a wheelbarrow thats what i think anyway
  22. hi matt just wondered if u would be able to do a tree inspection of a big elm near huntingdon the bloke we work for needs it done as he needs it checked out of insurances reasons as its right next to his house i will be passing ur number on to him today just thought i would let u no cheers martin

  23. the jo-beau is alot more money i will agree with that im thinking about buying the 15 or 18 hp. i hired the 13 hp and was miles more impressed with it than the 13/75
  24. iv used the jo-beau and the 13/75 i dont think the 13/75 is as good as the jo-beau i was that impressed with the jo-beau im thinking of buying one. like mr ed said it is as good as some 6 inch chippers thats my opinion anyway
  25. some more i just found
