  1. yeh it needs a new p&c really all i wondered if the 026 piston would fit on the 024woodboss con rod. bor the cyl out to 44 mm( is the height off the 024 piston and the height off the 026 piston the same if so then the stroke wouldnt change is that rite)i take it the small end pins are the same size to
  2. yeh i keep looking on there, all i ever seem to find is pistons and piston rings but on cyl. now does anyone no what the bore size of a 260 is and if i can bore the 024av out to fit a 260 piston and rings on the 024 piston rod just wondered if this may work

  4. we got a pro 51k like pro gard the only down side to this machine is that it still cuts in the rain. i have cut grass 12 inch hiegh with it and it still works

  7. stick to a timberwolf 13/75 mate if i was u iv use a camon c150 i didnt really like it. the timberwolf is a great machine if there was no jo beau on the market i would have a timberwolf 13/75

Jim.Lidgett not trying to get it ur bad books mate really not as u no alot more than me but i new u would say the bandit is a good chippers i dont doubt that. if i was thinking about one of then it would be a 65 xp think timberwolf 150/190 hb jenson a528 tt, blulechip,shiesling mx 200,tp 150 greenmech 15-23, 16-23 or 9 inch chipper please help me lads trying to make a decison and MR ED sorry to mention again what was that chipper like u designed thank mate
  13. thats whats my old man is looking at buying m400 i've hired the m300 great machine but i want a towable chipped i really do not know why but for some strange reason everytime i look at greenmech i like them just wondered what u guys and girls that use them think off them (i would be looking round the 5-8 inch mark so any suggestions would be great ) oh and MR ED how is ur range off drum chippers going really interested to hear about them any pic or vids on how they perfrom if one is finished cheers mate
  14. not being funny or anything i've read alot of posts about various woodchippers such as timberwolf,shiesling,jenson,vermeer etc but u never hear much about greenmech. in about 3 or 4 months time i will be looking at buying my first towable woodchipper. now for small access stuff which we do alot of my dad is looking at buying a jo beau which i know is one of the best small chippers out there. for some strange reason i like the look of all the greenmech range never used one. i dont care about a trailer license i will get one if its over 750kg, i've use alot of timberwolfs 150hb 190hb and s426tdh shredder just wondered how the greenmechs compared any help would be grateful. cheers martin
  15. i got one off ebay of 25 pound and that had never bin used. they are a great toy to play with
  16. about 5 weeks ago someone nicked my dads fs 400 ent even done 6 months work and 3 nites later they broke into a stilh agent near me and nicked about 4k of stuff chainsaws,blowers hedge trimmers etc
  17. yeh i will agree it was a waste off 2 nice trees. i did not do the tree work as they are miles to big for me josharb87 it was in godmanchester as i am to belive by talkin the the person at owns the house the cedar in the first pic was planted by the same peorsn and around the same time as that one u took that limb out at hinchingbrook house.how i no that tree so well u worked on is i went to school there. we work form huntingdon no company name as its just me and my dad that work together. who do u work for
  18. just found some more pics off that cedar in the back gound of that last pic a limb fell out off it, so that was took down to i think by GTS, the 2 cedar where takin down with in a week off each other. though i would post some intresting pics as i was lookin though the pic i had on my computer

  20. yeh that was alot off fun and the customer wanted some shape to it and come down to that hieght that conifer is 3 trees. as it was my first conifer job didnt really no what i was gettin my self in for. done the hedge in the back gound to took about 16ft out the top thanks for the advice though cheers andy

  22. we have the 13 hp one they are very good at eating hedge trimmings they love conifers our one ent got a feed on it. the only thing with it we fine u have to hold on to the wood you put through it eg 70mm hardwood as it trys to snach it from u and stalls the machine and when its wet with most things u may as well leave it at home. we had a demo on the 18 hp one that was some bit off kit but 9k. u seem to be lookin for a chippers or shredders around the same kind off thing i was lookin for hedge trimmings,conifers small wood. i took a year off hirin diffrent machines as i dont want to buy the wrong one and the best i found was the jo beau when we hired that it rained most the week and still worked really well best thing to do mate is get some demos or hire stuff when u get a job where u can use it and then u fine the best machine for u

  24. Arbutus Andrachnoides, holly , Cotoneaster family is a big evergreen family off small trees does that help u
  25. i did wonder if it was that cedar at hinchingbrooke school in ur picture. i remember that tree before that limb fell out as i drive past it most days
