  2. has any one on here used the greenmech gmr and the jo beau just wondered what the diffrence between the to machines where as i do alot off narrow access stuff .
  3. if i was u i would try to hire a timberwolf 13/75 and see what u think off it as i hired one yeh thought it was a good machine till i hired the jo beau. the last thing u want to do is buy a machine you dont get on with. a jo beau is a amazing chipper to use. 2 things i dont like about the timberwolf is the hopper infeed i think is to heigh and that the chippings come out the side where as the jo beau u can fire the chips straight into a wheelbarrow thats what i think anyway
  4. hi matt just wondered if u would be able to do a tree inspection of a big elm near huntingdon the bloke we work for needs it done as he needs it checked out of insurances reasons as its right next to his house i will be passing ur number on to him today just thought i would let u no cheers martin

  5. the jo-beau is alot more money i will agree with that im thinking about buying the 15 or 18 hp. i hired the 13 hp and was miles more impressed with it than the 13/75
  6. iv used the jo-beau and the 13/75 i dont think the 13/75 is as good as the jo-beau i was that impressed with the jo-beau im thinking of buying one. like mr ed said it is as good as some 6 inch chippers thats my opinion anyway

  8. o24 mate less power it cleared the old saw out thats for shore if it was a oak would have got a new saw lol 660
  9. last month i went to one off my customers houses and the chestnuts looked like it was autumn i took a leaf of the chestnut and poped the brown mark on the leaf open it to find a maggot tip thing in the leaf any ideas the trees where covered

  11. didnt chunk it just took about 2 inches off either side in a v shape, then cut it form either side did wonder how i was do it. when i looked at the job, for some reason it didnt seem that big when i priced it lol i will posts pic
  12. i was cutting a hawthorn hedge in buckden about a year ago, when i felt some stabs in my arm. i stopped straight away, as i thought it was the hedge i was cutting, but i had cut a wasp nest in half, i ran for about 400 yard before they left me alone.
  13. i cut up a poplar 36 inch at the bowl with a o24 with a 16 inch bar it fell over in the wind i had no problem i will post pic tomorrow if u guys want to see them so that 088 should make lite work off that lol
  14. me and my old man over the winter picked up and planted 40 friut trees in 15 litre pots, in a day, stakes and tied them and there is only two dead. i would rather plant bear root stuffin in the winter, for some reason they seem to make a better tree in the end thats what i think anyway

  16. i did wonder about bracin but didnt say just incase i was wrong and looked stupid we use a tree surgeon for the big jobs we do but he hasnt done one for bracin he said it takes to long for what its worth, but as its a beautiful tree i thought i would ask u guys and anyone that would be intrested in having a look please let me no as i hate seein tree taken down for no reason and i will pass your number on, cambridgshire brampton thanks for ur help
  17. so did i do wrong by digin it out i only see it as a bramble was growing out off we only went there to prune the loral hedge
  18. this walnut is the bigest walnut i have seen is as big as any oak round this area it is such a beautiful tree the will need a limb coming out of it soon as it right over the house
  19. this walnut is from a place i work i dug about 18 inch off dirt out of the centre and wondered if there was anything i could do to stop it fillin with water and dirt and try to stop it from rotin out as the limp on the left hand side is leaning toward the house any advice
  20. there was another one near it with the top just cut off so it looks like it has a flat top no shape what so ever. im no expert but i hate seeing trees like this

  22. i would not mind one after seeing that. the steam engine and everything on the low loader must weigh about 45 ton i was well impressed how it got hold off that load
  23. what most impressed me about that rally was a old mog. it got hold off are low loader and draged it off the field like it was not even behind it
