  2. some of that kevlar rope i got in the shed ive not broke it yet so it must be strong The bloke from BT that i got it from said its 7 t cable winching rope

  6. i think a volvo digger has a button you perate with ya thumb so maybe some gaffer tape will work
  7. Looking great now, i picke d my engine up today its been re bored head skimmed and new pistons just got to put it all together now , whole engine in kit form in the workshop
  8. there should be a number on the existing battery or a good motor factors will be able to ID it no prob to charge battery you will need the grey(caravan socket) socket fitted to the towing vehicle and ideallly a split charge system, this will charge the trailer battery while driving and when the engine not running it wont drain the vehicle battery when you tip
  9. think id go for a digger then if tree work has a quiet spell you can always hire the machine out with or with out a driver 1t mini digger and driver goes out for minimum £200 per day
  10. just double check flow rate of digger and flow rate of log splitter spool valve also when powering with a digger you will need a way of making the hydraulic circuit live without having to sit in the cab and press the button

  14. from the photos it looks like you could remove 1/2 brick(4 inch) from either side of the opening fit new lintel and you will the right clearance
  15. ive driven jdb mini diggers not that good from my experiance the volvos are much better to drive hopefullly ill get a drive of his new machine when it arrives
  16. he changes his machines at least every 2 years im waiting for him to sell the Bobcat micro digger that he owns its got a year on the warranty ,thenn im sure it will be sold
  17. a friend of mie is changing his mini digger volvo ec18 to one of these Takeuchi Mfg UK - TB125 hes been driving one for someone else and deidedit was a better machine than the volvo

  19. rebuilding the engine at the moment damaged 3 bores when the head gasket went so once engine fixed i will do a couple of repairs to the cab once its done there will be a pic or 2 on here
