  1. Same here, if you need a lift, lob us a pm. Unless work throws a hissy I'm there both days...
  2. Only kidding, it's a risk worth taking to watch the epic swings first hand More entertaining than the footy...
  3. And what a cracking day it was to, I'll see if I can get the photos up in a bit. Cheers to all you fine chaps and lass for making it a good day out in the middle of nowhere. Cheers to Rich for letting me try your set up, way smoother than mine, giving me ideas... and kudos to anyone who survived Dave D's swinging lanyard of concussion... Sorry the footy wasn't worth leaving for though... Ho hum. Here's to the next one!
  4. Sounds like a plan, unless I end up working... see you down there.
  5. Zaskar, awesome, you guys have good taste!
  6. Oh Plippy, you do flatter me. Wouldn't want to ruin the cut of my Hiflex... you'll have to wear the trousers, and I hear being angry and swearing lots makes you all the more manly.
  7. It's always a pleasure hanging around with you fine people, unless work throws a wobbly one at me, I'm in. Plippy will win a speed climb if there's a discount price prussik at the top (got one left!)... Or maybe a ropeguide for his new VT setup...
  8. I have to get me one of these treeboats, just too cool. Just thought of so many trees at work to lounge around in... I'm sure the boss won't mind!
  9. I'll be there tomorrow, I'm sure the noisy Arbtalkers will be hard to miss... (here's looking at you Plippmeister). I would bring my crap hat so you lot could find me, but it's not going to be sunny, so look for the BOSH tshirt Laters!
  10. If everything was perfect, we'd only have a very small selection of products on the market, don't you think? That's the problem with the internet, opinion presented as fact... I for one would prefer to see a selection of products and healthy competition to keep everyone sharp. It's not like we won't whinge if it's naff is it?
  11. A good crack it was too... Huge thanks to Justin and Richard for feeding, housing and entertaining us and you ugly lot for making me laugh (especially Mick, who showed me many, many ways to tie a VT... ) I had a couple of photos, but they came out so badly, I can't even tell who's who...
  12. Oh and it's tent all the way for me... not sleeping in the Fiesta!
  13. Well for some reason, the weather people are taking pity on us and it's not as biblical rain as was forecast yesterday... sometimes I think they just make it up... Sounds like a good opportunity for beers... and having seen some previous form... Does anyone want a Lansky knife sharpener BTW? The Official British Knife Collectors Guild ... Lansky Sharpening Systems ? I've got a Spyderco I prefer and was hoping to raise some cash. In fact anything in my kitbag is pretty much for sale so I can line Justin's pocket...
  14. Well, the beers are in, the tent has been dusted off, I'm trying to avoid working all weekend and I'm trying not to look at the weather forecast... bring your snorkels!
  15. How much time do you spend on spikes chogging/dismantling vs reductions? The Skylotec is like an armchair with spikes (IMHO), my brief experience with the treemotion is that it's lighter and more manoeuvrable for strectchy reach work and the leg loops don't twist round and is comfy when set up. Apart from the leg loops sliding a little, I've loved my skylo, and you can hang an epic amount of gear... . It suited me better when I was getting towards normal size....
  16. No worries on my part, I'll donate to the thunderbox tax
  17. Quite, Rest in Music filled Peace. What a legend. I'd be listening to my Rainbow double live LP, if the phono stage on my amp hadn't just packed up. The indiginity.
  18. Quality! Just need an illustrated parts list and a printer, and I'm good to go!
  19. That would be spot on, you have a PM! Many thanks. T.
  20. Has anyone got a parts list for an 020t and a service manual as well? I used to have a pdf version which was very useful, but somehow I've managed to electronically misplace them... I can never remember how to get things to bit the right way... or back together for that matter... Any help greatly appreciated! T.
  21. I'll get a selection then! Having had the pleasure of meeting some of you lot, I'd guess the stronger the better and bring a camera! Any requests, lob us a PM and we'll it out later... Toby.
  22. Right, to be honest, if there's beers in the offering, we'd better do this properly (and buy Mr Jones and Mr Olley some). I may place an order at some point from BeerRitz Mail Order - Suppliers of Specialist Beers if anybody wants some postage sharing, let me know! Yum! T.
  23. Sounds spot on, I'm sure I can drag my sorry self down!

Wish I'd spent more time in the beer tent! Blast this weekend working lark... Good to meet up with some of you fine chaps, next time... I may have to have a few beers and make a tit of myself... P.S Thanks for not laughing too much at my crap hat (to my face at least)!
