  2. hi guys Ive got to install two cobra cable braces on monday in a pin oak(I wont see the tree till monday)One is at 6meters and one at 8 meters Its been ages since i last done one,and ive forgotten how to install them?? Advice and tip would be great cheers
  3. Why do you need certified and rated ladders? We use tri ladders and they are so handy for awkard hedges etc,couldnt use anything else personally.
  4. I love it when hauling up a big saw and hanging off the hc (not when cutting tho) that it weighs hardly anything

    So what rope do you guys use for your lanyard? I use xtc+ 3m and blaze 5m(for large removals)now im thinkin spark?

    Just checked and the isc micro grab only takes 10.5mm+,might have to invest in a cinch next then

    Yeah the thought of 10mm for lanyard seems a bit small,but would be ok for prunning jobs,Ross i use the isc micro grab

    Does any one use a 10mm lanyard? Whats the pro's and cons? Im think of getting one made with 10mm AP (Armor-Prus 10mm prusik line) Cheers

  18. hey rich,ive changed back to fishermans but on some spectra stuff,no probs what so ever and is a lot softer which is what i like,i also do the braids then a wrap but not over the rope then 2 more,works sweet,Got a 25m role of ap coming to work next week so will try that with fishermans agaiin

    How come the sap effects the timber for milling/turning?I tried to get some walnut sent to a turner yesterday but he didnt want it because its spring??
