  1. ah ok, but can i still load the truck to 3500kg?:confused1:
  2. Yes I have read that to, the dvla website says “Category B vehicles may be coupled with a trailer up to 750kgs MAM (allowing a combined weight up to 4.25 tonnes MAM) or a trailer over 750kgs MAM provided the MAM of the trailer does not exceed the unladen weight of the towing vehicle, and the combination does not exceed 3.5 tonnes MAM.” Which is fine as long as you know the exact weight of vehicle and trailer and you don’t want to load the vehicle. It is explained better here - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/CaravansTrailersCommercialVehicles/DG_10013073
  3. Yes tipper with steel body and twin rear axle. We went over the weight bridge full of chip as well, only have a standard steel body with 15-inch deep sides. Filled it 3 inches from the top and with all are kit we were 3400kg. Stupidly didn’t check the axles on there own, but it was worth the £10 to know what we can carry.
  4. Yes the payload of a transit is poor, the grave digger at work got pulled and was over weight on the back axel. So we have spent sometime at the way bridge, as I see it you are lucky to be able to carry 900kg If u want to carry kit as well. With two guys and all our kit and a full tank of diesel we weighed 2350kg. It is far to easy to over load a 3.5 ton truck:thumbdown:
  5. Haha very good, not one I had thought of either, glad to see they all used ear defenders:001_tongue: I have only got as far as using them to launch tennis balls and apples:sneaky2:

  12. Cool video, love the fighting chair on the front of the truck “gota have a stubby holder” lol. Looks like fun though.

  18. Yes I’m starting to think so, yesterday someone broke into the cemetery toilet and nicked all the copper pipe. Crazy I could believe it when I was told, is the price of scrap that good? To go to all that trouble for about 6 ft of pipe.

  21. Hi Just had a Stihl ms250 die and the boss wants to replace it with an Echo saw. What are peoples opinions on Echo chainsaws? I think he is looking at either a cs4400 or cs5100. Thanks, Mark
