  6. PeteMcTree has some more photos on his phone, we'll get them posted as soon as we can. Was a little cold, we could do with doing it again when it's a little warmer. Good thing was, everyone had something they either had not done before or were crap at. ie footlocking. There were people there who had been in forestry all their carreer who had never climbed and just wanted to give it a go. There was no piss taking about ability, just plenty of knowledgable people there willing to spend time showing and teaching techniques and offering tips. Peter the squirrel showed us all how to footlock properly and set up lines to have a go. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot, was able to try tackle out that I have been thinking of buying. It would be nice if something like this could be organzied mid country so it wasn't a vast distance for more southerly people to get to.

  15. My first attempt is on my postings. Needs updating now, was a proper learner when I did it, no experience of web design, if you notice the background on the homepage is an electronics one  www.dalofthousetreesurgery.co.uk I find sharing info the way forward in this industry, hence the get together. You could find that if you keep everything to yourself, you could find that you have been doing something that is dambed dangerous without knowing it. IMO sharing info and getting together for climbing, chatting days is vital. And a bigup on Steve for such as this website, I have learnt more on here in one month than I would have learnt in two years. Well done Steve:icon14:
  16. I find that putting the village or town where you are based on your ad gets you a lot of very local work. The website seems to be a secondary, they see your ad in the yellow or tompsons and go to your website to check you out, then contact you from there.
  17. I have a 7m rope and a 28m rope I also have an intact 35m
  18. You could stack a load of brash under the casualty and just cut his lines. No..no...no Joking Do not try this at home!!

  20. You don't?? No wonder I'm struggling shedding a few pounds
  21. Nearly everyone has a dishwasher Pete. Not everyone is like you, going bald, teeth falling out, arthritis setting in, going deaf, hip joints going, prostrate enlarging, going grey, blind................................................. Now where's my humane killer????????
