  1. We'll get an idea of numbers next week. I've got a stove, kettle and brew kits for drinks. I'll get some soft drinks and water etc and hopefully, iff I can get hold of a barbie, I'll get some burgers, sausage and buns for grub. Pete McTree can supply the good looks and charm.
  2. Now the new Amazon is out there'll be some cheap 12 month old low milage Amazons about. They should last you a good 10 years, there aren't many big 4x4s you can put half a million miles on without major surgery. There's only the Amazon and Patrol that can take that punishment
  3. Don't want to be negative Cabstar, but just look around at the people who you see driving the x5s. Aspiring chavs, wannabees, bling merchants. go for the Audi mate. or even the New Amazon... my next motor even if I have to rob a bank
  4. Got a deal, £99 a night for two nights Just asked if they had any specials on. Everything you need for a chilled out weekend is here. Surprised you got past security Ed
  5. Which one is it, I'll have a spin. We,ve booked in at the White Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge, very plush and expensive, £155 a night, helicoptor just taken off from back lawn. I think helicoptor usage may be included in price
  6. Well, ended up in the Lake district, spending tomorrow in Whitehaven then will move further inland. Had nothing but snow up to press. Priced Paris and New York and couldn't get anything under £1200 just for flights and accomodation. Ended up thiking that i could have a right blow out for that price over here. Get pissed every night and eat top food and still go home with plenty of change. Just watched the Amir Khan fight in the local pub, peed off that he won, wanted to see him get a right kicking. What a beautiful place Cumbria is, we live in amongst the most stunning veiws known to man and never see past the end of our noses. Locals have got a bit of a funny accent but hey, can't have everything.
  7. Do they need to be High def I'm of the opinion that camcorders are like computors, they are out of date within 12months. I didn't want to spend hundreds on one to find it's bottom of the pile and needs updating. How do you find your picture quality Log
  8. It's good to do for your own information. I like to cross section where there is rot after I have guesstimated how far I think the cavity or rot may go and look at the structural integrity etc Good for personal learning
  9. ...and the dickie birds wont have as far to fall if they fall off their perch while asleep.
  10. Got mine from a chap called Gary Drake in Osset, he should come up on a google. All 3.5t grossers carry around the same (legally) around just under a ton, but I have had 2ton on mine over short distances and off road
  11. Skyhuck will have called you Hitler in the nicest possible way though Tony
  12. They do a 5.5t version Lee and they start at £35k
  13. Dogs testicles Cordwood, service them when they should be serviced and regularly maintain them and they'll look after you. Parts are available anywhere and aftermarket parts and upgrades are readily available and they are cheap.
  14. I think it's because i've mentioned the "L" word
  15. I've cricked mi neck now!! Big and fat at the bottom and busy up top, one of them jobs you think your not getting anywhere then all of a sudden it's done, the crowns off. Nice work
  16. I've been looking at Digital Camcorders and find the choice a little confusing. They vary in price dramatically Does anyone have one that they can recommend. I need optical zoom, good quality optics, good picture quality on moving objects and HD capable recording.
  17. I'd be asking myself was the tree planted too close to the house or was the house planted too close to the tree.
  18. Good point. If we did a big tree in a day each, we'd run out of trees in ermmmm haven't got my calculator. Better to take trees down and take the time to do it sensibly and safely. Why rush
  19. 252 seconds !!! I'd have sacked my ground crew if they'd have slowed me down that much
  20. I like the aggressive look of that one
  21. Sorry Matt, I haven't made myself clear. I run the standard width tyre but put on narrower tyres when needed, which I find do provide better grip
  22. In case you are confused. I suggested a non violent approach. You said I may get a kick in the teeth and look silly if caught. I suggest although we are letting tyres down it is they who, knowly rip you off, deserve the kick in the teeth. You then suggest in your post I am contradicting myself. Hope this clears it up for you Cabbi
  23. Greenway Anaconda 235's decentish all round I have a set of, I think 185's in the container Anacondas can be too aggressive though sometimes.
