  1. You just need to weld a heated seat on it out of a plush 4x4 and job done, comfy and warm
  2. I need to get miself one of those fangled cd players.............oh I already have.....maybe the central locking then, that would be a right pose on a landrover
  3. Thats the ticket David, exactly what I was thinking. I have walked about 3 mile behind the bloomin thing today, with that and banking mowing my feet are killing me
  4. If shrek, living in the outback in redneck land can upload videos, I can.....
  5. I'm hoping I can get Johnnys mower going so I can upgrade to a ride on and get a big belly
  6. There's a seperate compartment for them Mick
  7. To the brim Tommer , I reckon she holds a good 2 ton and a bit of chip
  8. It'll play with the chipper bob, especailly a 750kg one
  9. I have been thinking of making a little platform with wheels to stand on to put on the back of it
  10. That landrover has never broken down and has never been bump started I think I'll contact the Guiness book or records and see if it's a first
  11. Having a go and getting beaten up may not be a total loss. They may think twice if they are thinking of returning in the future. They will know you will not take any nonesence and will have a go, only the next time you may be prepared and they may not get the better of you. I am all for getting toed in with people like this, I did it with some bullies at school who bullied me for a year, I snapped one day and focussed on the ring leader, I jumped on him and concentrated on hurting him while the others were beating me. They never bullied me again, I got a good kicking but I hurt the ring leader who was not willing to have a repeat performance. Hopefully you have done the same with your theives
  12. Here Stevie, if you doubt the awesome power of my wee mower for a powered mover here you go mate. Here she is working doing what she does best.. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXaMl4f-hdw]YouTube - Mower shoving landy[/ame] ..and the video is her having a workout.
  13. Went down to the wood to have a look see if my Hazels are lifting with nuts and I could only find two in all the hazels I have. Where's all my nuts gone?
  14. Haha, cheers for the offer Peter , but I'll ID mine on the deck after I've felled them all. I reckon between you and Ed you have wiped out half the countrys Poplar and willow population in the last few years, shame on you
  15. I must have the highest density of "Hybrid" poplars round here then. Next question is was it P. x euramericana or P. nigra
  16. I think common sense dictates it does...... All my accidents have been caused by rushing.... except the mewp which was mechanical
  17. Buy a carb seal and diaphram kit and do the carb as well for what they cost
  18. Cut throat pricing will be one of the major factors in the reasons why people end up getting injured. Rushing jobs to get it done in one day rather than one and a half for example. I try to price jobs now so it is more of a relaxed affair, we shouldn't have to bust our guts to get the job done. All the injuries I've had can be put down to rushing, full stop
  19. One thing people seem to forget when deciding between a 110 and a 130 is the difference in the chassis. The 130 chassis is double thickness re-inforced which should be a MAJOR factor considering we abuse them by overloading them then expect them to traverse rough terrain carrying said load. The 110 chassis is simply not IMO up to the job plus the added bonus of helper springs on the 130
  20. To me I am not so much suprised about the taking down of the tree as we all know, they have more often than not, been pollarded or end up leaning at an alarming rate with the root plate raised on one side. What concerned me most is them being described as: "An endangered species" I think this is the typical un-educated ignorant response expected from interfereing tree huggers who don't research their comments. My wood is 3 mile from Kirkburton, I am this year carrying out a thinning removing around thirty Black poplars before they get hold and take over, they are welcome to come here, dig them up and transplant on their land if they wish
  21. Well I'll be blown, in my local rag The Huddersfield Examiner, apparently and according to the "Burton enviromental Group" of Kirklees this Black Poplar was, "The tallest living tree in Kirkburton - it was probably the oldest living thing in Kirkburton" and "People who passed it could not help but be awed by this superb specimen of a locally rare species of tree" Story below: Huddersfield Examiner - News - Local West Yorkshire News - Kirkburton endangered tree chopped down by the council I've got a whole bunch of them in my wood should any local tree Hugger wish to come and spend time with one, I do have at least one 100ft plus Black poplar, I did have three 100fters, but I have cut one down and my neighbour (without permission) cut down the other
  22. You mean you were in your own "SPECIAL" class !!!!!
  23. I came first in the elderly class mate
