  4. Does anyone know anyone that deals with ex gym equipment, looking for a treadmill and some other bits. Got about a grand to spend on a treadmill. Looking for something like a life fitness or similar.

  7. I should be able to supply you the parts no problem I'm not back in until next week to sort you a price, but I'll do as soon as I'm back. Can you PM me the question again, as I check them every morning and may forget if it's only on the thread.
  8. Hi Just a quick question what do you guys pay for carving chain, as if I'm going to put it on the shelf I need to know if there is a market for it. I think I should be able to do it for about 20p + VAT per drive link (£11.20 + VAT for a 10" chain) I could do with some feedback so I know which way to go with this. If I go forward with stocking the chain I'll do the same with the bars and sprockets. Thanks in advance.
  9. Sometimes things don't always go to plan, We sent out a helmet to Stox and it did a big circle with the carriers and came back to us, he should be getting it today. There is a lot of time effort and money that goes into the prize giving, as well as running the raffle, I'm sure it will arrive soon. I see your quite new to the forum, be careful with the smiles, I think the thumbs-down was a little bit over the top, but it was early this morning. Keep an eye on the door mat I'm sure its on its way.
  10. We use a hot knife in the shop, but at the shows insulation tape and a pair of Felco No 2 does the job perfect.
  11. If you have a look at our price list all the cc are next to the saws, this should help you. Machinery prices || F.R. Jones and Son
  12. There are a few Kask.Stein helmets some have no side protection, but the TC version conforms to EN12492 with side impact. Not sure what one you have been looking at. I've just copied this about the cleaning of the smelly bits from the importers website. I've just learnt this myself so thought I best share it. The inner padding consists of two different pieces, head-band and disc, totally removable and washable by hand or in a washing machine at 30°
  13. I'm afraid it has to be a saw, I agree no domestic customers should be able to buy throught the post but pro guys should. But we have to follow the rules. We are now out and about all over the place so that is going to help a bit.
  14. Not under Stihl's new rules previous customer yes, but none of the rest I have been told that I can't sell Stihl machines to a new customer even if they hold a NPTC or professional/commercial company.
  15. They have addressed it now it did take a while.
  16. No problem I was just trying to highlight that we have found now it's better to get the stitching done then possibly go through the same thing twice. We have found a couple of thing that help the use of braces keeps them up and stops them falling down under their own weight, then when you open your legs all the pressure is at the sewn point at the bottom of the zip. The other thing is to put a few locking stitches at the bottom of the zip this seems to help 100% (everyone we have told this to has never had a zip fail). S'air are now doing this as standard. .
  17. If him brings them back and causes a fuss I'll change them for a new pair and they might go again. The fact I'm going to pay to have them stitched up stronger than before, I thought was quite a good offer.
  18. Once you have used it for a month or so, can you let me know what you think of it as I've been thinking about putting them into stock.
  19. Not yet but they normally follow Stihl's lead.
  20. Alloy Gecko's seem to be the best sellers at the moment, coming a close second are the Bashlins.
  21. Just a heads up guys Stihl's go up 5% on the 1st of Feb.
  22. My local dry cleaners does them, if you have a problem give them to Rich if he's up with you and I'll get them sorted for you.
  23. As soon as it's in I'll let you know.
  24. That's the absolute nuts, wish I had some space for it.
