  1. Great work there Steve!! Its nice when a job is only being done in the interests of the the tree it's self!! ( and safety obviously)
  2. The T/O said " if we could get the tree surgeon" how can they call the person who did THAT a tree surgeon????
  3. It actually "topping and lopping" and its not good, but if the owner knows it and you tell them all the consequences, its their call.
  4. No! I NEVER call them reductions!, I am an honest man I call it "topping"!!
  5. Happy birthday John Hancock!! 39 is still young!! I'll be 39 on the 18th.
  6. It was not the head bit I meant, I was interested in how common it is was for someone to completely remove a limb?

    Celox

I was looking at this at the APF, my plan is to use double sided sticky tape to stick a sachet to the inside of a new helmet, it lasts 3 years same as the hat. At the end of 3 years I hope to bin both!!
  12. You still claim back VAT on purchases over £2000.
  13. Why not contact the TO and get it TPO'd? It does not have to be in the "public eye". Why not look out for nice trees and get them TPO'd, there is nothing to stop anyone from contacting the council and suggesting tree that should be protected. This is a great thing to do and is not an abuse of a contractor client relationship!!
  14. When you are asked to quote for work you are taken into the clients confidence, the only reason your mate knew those trees were to be felled was because the client told him, he then used that information to the detriment of the client, very unprofessional, IMO. If the trees were of importance they should have already been TPO'd!!
  15. And then we wonder why people get the pikeys to do their trees
  16. So if I thump you on the end of the nose thats bad, but if you've been thumped on the nose before it's fine, as I'm only "re" thumping you??
  17. So this isn't Topping????? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=2759&page=5
  18. You should have given her my number!!
  19. Andy, the law is often wrong! If we all bend over and take it more fool us!! More of us need to take a stand and just say "NO"!! Its the only way we can hope to stop these muppets in suits from messing up our lives, IMO.
