    Some one has to go and keep the roads clear, I used to love it, but not these days.

    I really don't want to work, but when its the council its a tough call. I never used to mind as they gave me a huge potion of my work, but these days they give me very little, but if I don't attend will lose even the small amount I do get??

    I removed a failed Beech from its neighbour, an almost identical Beech, the failure was due to Merip and the trees were within 3M of each other, the sound tree was under considerable load, but was fine.

    Why is have insurance to cover your trees in the event of bad weather not a personal responsibility?? Using your argument all emergency medical staff would work for free.

    There is an old saying, "Everything's for sale for the right price" If I wanted to work xmas day I would book work in and go out and work, I don't want to work, so in order to get me to work I need to be enticed to work by the right price, for me the price is triple my normal rate, meaning I could take three normal days off to compensate. Customers are free to pay it or go else where To be perfectly honest I'm not sure I'd even want to work at triple pay, I may just ignore the phone if it rings

    No, tripple IMO, plus needs to be minimum of 2 hours.

    No chance, thats for standard evenings and weekends, surely it needs to be more for such special days.

    All this "life and death" thing is funny, I've never been called out to a tree on a person, I think thats within the remit of the "emergency services"
