  2. my stove takes upto 20inch logs but most i do is 11inch and about 4inch squarish and customers on a whole are happy with them

  15. perhaps but you have to prize off so potentially putting extra pressure on trapped limbs if unscrewed it doesnt do that. and with modern cordless tools its pretty quick to undo not saying your wrong chris its just what i was taught
  16. i burn only wood im selling my customers apart from the conifer i burn that dont usually sell it. Well after 2hrs of testing the wood its in the house with snow on it and the room is now 29.8 degrees c so im happy with going ahead and sell it
  17. i have just done that they burn fine his a bit but pretty hot
  18. ive split it and stacked on pallets with black plastic sheet over it going to make a makeshift poly tunnel tommorrow if its good enough weather
  19. if you use nails wen the horses continual bang them the nails work loose when we made them we used spax screws miles better imo. if you gloss paint them it holds moisture in an makes them rot quicker. size of fence also depends on what class of rider you are making it for
  20. i got some wood from lower down the pile and its dry as owt the wood is mostly ash,sycamore beech and some eucalyptus that was dead when i cut it down i will tell customers what it is and knock some money of the price that might make them happy
