  1. If your new to it all, does that mean you've got tickets and are starting out? Or not? If to haven't your first couple of thousand will be spent on training, depending what tickets you end up with.
  2. Buy a small trailer?
  3. Gutted Nod, bad news mate
  4. It is necessary tho, to get a good view of the racing!!
  5. Real shame hearing the stories of lost loved ones. If only they'd of known back then. These days I'm pretty sure that modern asbestos removal would be safer than tree work.
  6. Paint it mate and get your number or a code or something put on. Only so much you can do I suppose but it will all help Lorry :-)
  7. There's was a programme on tv the other night about people stealing plant equipment, police again said if they really want it, they'll take it BUT they reckon the best thing to do is to paint it bright colours and sign write it up, plaster your name and numbers alllllllll over it, put phone numbers on the number plates and grind them in it somewhere too, they said that's the best deterrent, just because it's so obvious whose it is and that there a plenty out there with no signs and numbers etc, so usually the crims will go after something else
  8. The thing is, like some have said, if they bring the right gear, they WILL steal it. Crimes really bad round here again at the minute and the trick is, make it as awkward as possible, use big heavy chains that make lots of noise, use as many things as you possibly can to make it a massive ball ache for them and hopefully they will realise its not worth the effort and try and look for an easier target. If it takes you half an hour in a morning and at night to undo all the locks and chains and ground anchors etc then so be it pal. With any luck you'll keep your trailer :-)
  9. Ground anchor?
  10. Pays well tho haha
  11. Cold even
  12. Jesus is it that old down south? I think it's been alright in Manchester
  13. Scary using them, the one I used (not from the 40's) had incredible power, plus there's not much noise so it's a very surreal experience.
  14. Plus they will be bitter coz you get called in to do something they can't mate!
  15. You have to think of big saws as abit of an investment, as you'll pay £800 plus for one BUT looked after it will last you ten years, so the initial out lay is a lot but you get your money's worth.
  16. I saw that last night, nice looking trailer that
  17. That's a great idea Tom, never thought of that before
  18. It's a awful accident and I feel for the family. However, it is just that, an accident, they can't mallet one person for it, I'm sure EVERYONE involved feels horrendous about it wondering what they could have done better etc etc.
  19. Sounds like he needs to sell some cars and chill out
  20. Very true, my best mate from school is a hairdresser, he works in London now, doing big fashion shows and what have you, he did 43 grand last year and rubbed my face in it for all the jokes I made as a kid haha oh and he's married with kids
  21. Damn, I swore didn't I, sooorrrrryyyy.
  22. .....
  23. That's a CATastrophic mistake
  24. Think hard about what you want to do mate, you'll start at the very bottom on a lot less money then you'll get from your current trade.
  25. Hahahahahahaa
