  16. Rupe, I climb (not very often) on a prussik, Id like to add a pulley to that system, like you just described, I know you put the pulley under the knot but what do you attach it to a Krab with?? Will any bit of string do?? Sorry to sound like such a noob , I should really know the answer A picture would be great if you could put one up at some point mate

  18. Yup, i will be doing, Thats what i bought it for, Brews at the drop of a hat and soup and beans and what have you, For dinners Jackets fleecey inside mate yeah, Fleecey pockets too, It really is a nice jacket, Almost too good for work, which is why i bought it, Might leave it in the car/van to change into after work

  20. I did mate, went over last week as i needed some gas for my new Jetboil thingy, The jackets superb, They flew off the self though, I went on the wednesday i think and they only had 2 left at Stockport, Im very impressed with it to be honest, Gotta love a bargain too You cant beat ordering new gear mate, Bet you cant wait to get cracking with it all
  21. very distinctive truck mate, sorry to hear your news, however, it being that distinctive hopefully someone will see it and inform you. heres hoping mate
  22. Good stuff mate, Healthy body, healthy mind and all that I do like seeing other techniques getting used, Thats one reason i love being self employed and subbing to different people, seeing different climbers and how they do it, Makes it all more interesting and keeps me learning new stuff all the time, Even after 10 years i can see someone else do it a different way, I love that about this job!!
  23. Theres no way id trust that machine not to get jammed at some point in its life, Looks a good bit of kit, I wouldnt want to be too far from it tho just incase it did Jam up!!
  24. Not too shabby mate, Good stuff
  25. Its better now mate Still gonna take it half easy but to be honest everyone i sub too has called work off until next week, Due to snow, So by the time i get back to work it should be fine and dandy mate I climbed a small Birch last week, One of my own jobs and that went well, The reason i like the prussik is because im not a very confident climber, As you know i dont climb alot, Hopefully that'll change next year, I like the fact that when i pull down and push the knot up, if i were to slip or fall it would lock where it is, With hitch climbers and all that, When ive seen guys use them, 2 or 3 arm lengths of rope then pull the slack threw, i always think if i were to slip or fall then, id drop 2 or 3 arms lengths of rope before it locked, Again hopefully all that will change when i become more confident Oh and sorry to de-rail abit haha
