  1. no , but going to college teaches you to look after tree's , not butcher them. thats what this job is about. caring for the tree you are working on,not killing it by bad pruning.
  2. thats a professional talking there. he can top , i mean reduce a tree in ten minutes and he taught himself how to prune. ha

    they are going to do that to a dying ash at college for habitat. insteat of coronet cuts, they are going to cut from one sid and winch it over, not the done thing i know , but will be better for the wildlife apparetly.

  9. i shall be at capel ,AA and hopefully apf. get to go to capel with the college for free , and who knows maybe i will compete in the climbing comp, doubt it though as im slow lol
  10. 341 15" 660 25" and 36" had a 357xp this time last year but it was rubbish and constantly played about. so got the 341 and havent looked back since.

    i will today, i mean i only do work at the weekend at the moment as i am at college , but the one time i need it (which is on monday) the bloody thing is out of action.

    mine is barnd new though, never used the 3 foot bar to cut anything and its just not working, had the same problem with the 25" on it. it has worked properly from day one .

    i have the same problem , it is very difficult to turn and doesnt run out of thread , but it will only turn about half the ammount its supposed to.

    yep. 36'' which is 114 links thats what i have. its really stiff when i try to tention the chain with the bar on, but it works fine without a bar.

    but i have also found that it is impossible to tention the chain past a certain point and the chain is not at the right tention, there is a lot of chain creep and you cant tighten the chain any more. i have changed the tentioning bolt as the shop threaded it but its still not quite right.

    i bought a 660 about 3 weeks ago and it hasnt givien me anything but problems. firstly it stopped oiling, fixed that, then it turned out the tentioning bolt was bent, changed it now it will not tention the chain. any suggestions on what to do, im thinking of taking it back and getting a new one instead
  20. im at sparsholt doing an ND in arb at the moment , been there two years now and have one to go.

  23. scliesing chippers are very good, hired a 200mx for a job and was a very very good machine. well built and easy to use.
  24. i get CS 30,31,38,39,mewp ticket , chipper,dismantle and stum grinder i think over 2 years.
