  1. The guy from Sherbrook, is it Angus? occasionaly pops his head up on here.
  2. Pines, Branches around trunk in whorles. Needles generally in clusters of 2, 3, 5, called fascicles. Usually have male + female cones on the same tree. (monoecious) Cedars, Leaves in rosettes all aroud the branch. Cones stand erect. Spruce, Needles attached to the branch in a spiral fassion. Each needle is attached by a peg, (sterigmata) All cones hang down. Firs, Cones stand up, needles are flat cannot roll them in fingures. Cupressus Large round cones, False cyprus small football like cones.

When I started quoting I quoted low for small jobs to get the work and then acouple of times with other customers when I was called back to look at bigger workin there gardens they nearly fell over with shock when i told them the price and thought I was ripping them off. If I had of quoted the original jobs a bit higher id of still have got them and I wouldnt of put my self in an awkward position when i quoted for the larger jobs.

  7. Transit tipper + 6in chipper may well be there for longer but larger machinery will do it quicker but the cost of these larger machines is more so there shouldn't be that much of a difference in price.
  8. Got to price at least £100. I know of a couple of firms that wont do any small jobs for less than £150+vat
  9. Id keep it now you have spent out on it, the last thing you want is to go and buy another truck and possibly have problems with that.

  21. Yeah, that was taken in the auto setting. If an object is near it automaticly goes into macro. Thera are so many settings on the thing I dont know where to start. I know nothing about phototography, glad I didn't get the DSLR!!
  22. Hama, is the telephoto lens for the g11? what exactley does it do? all i understand is that it is like putting a magnifiying glass infront of the lens!
