  1. There are a couple of reasons, first I will try and register it as an ag vehicle here in Norway, hard to do if it carries passangers, almost impossible if it carries passangers and has a turbo.I don't think the extra HP that a turbo provides compensates for the extra running costs of having it listed as a Truck. I considered buying a unit like a Mercedes MB trac, they have high road speed and great turning circle.Alas I would have to have a truck to carry the Crew ,so again no advantage. Thanks for your imput though, all is apprciated
  2. What am I doing wrong mate? Thanks again!
  3. thanks!
  4. Yes,called them today but they only answer their phones betwwen 3 and 5pm.I'll give them a shout tomorrow.I found a 1250 over in Germany for sensible money, also one in the Uk as well as a U1000 that might be up for sale. I really like the simplicity of the U1000,a 1250 really offer's little advantage to me here.
  5. Do you have his number?I'm based in Norway so can arrange my own shipping, thing is that the sum that is paid for the machine in Euro dollars,is what they sell for in Pounds Sterling once they land in the UK.Nice little proffit.
  6. Is it just me using Clothes peggs then?
  7. Sorry guys, this Pc hase come back broken.Bugger.
  8. Great video and superb skills! Thanks for that!I have to wonder why so much money was spent by the builders of the "Sky walk" so close to a Dead or Dying Tree?
  9. That was out at a fishing lodge in Alaska,we used to get flown out there in a float plane, have a couple of days of utter mayhem. That one was a good 150/160 odd feet and an honest six foot at the butt.
  10. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w68/treebogan/IMGP0132. A bit chilly in Alaska,at the end of the season.Frozen ropes and trees anyone?

  12. I went over to Germany to look at a mog, turned out it was a complete TURD.It actually broke down on the test drive, the vendor claimed over the phone that it was emission certified and "ready for work".I think he put just a tiny bit of Diesel in it so I wouldn't test it to much.He never told me that it had been used as a Salt truck, would never have bothered to go if I'd known this, and I did ask what it had been used for in the German council. He claimed not to know. Here is the knob head's details Herr Douwenger (one of the wenger boy's?) "Machinenhandel" Emsland Gmbh His adverts are on Truck scout,I flew three hours and rode a train for a further three to see this Turd.He also claimed to have other Mogs but "all were just sold haha" when I arrived. They must have gotten them off the lot in a Teleporter as there were no tracks in the mud.
  13. Why does that pig have a cricket ball in its mouth?
  14. I also think the best climbers have doen their time on the ground,it exposes them to all matter of situations and experiance's. I also if possible involve my groundies in some of the "glorious" tasks, felling the big Spar's once you have rigged out all the branches. It might have ment that I had to block down a couple more rings to make it a bit shorter incase it didn't go where they wanted it,but its nice to get everyone involved. I'll also set up a top rope on a spar and let the groundies have a go at spiking whilst being belayed.Happy and inclusive makes a productive team.
  15. Pc is playing up again.Bollocks
  16. Here is mine.<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w68/treebogan/026.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
  17. Thanks guys,I'll call Farmi tomorrow, they havn't replied to any Emails so I though bollocks. They do sound good though Ed
  18. Ive found a chipper called a Ducker, yeah ha ha but at least its not called a dodger.Thing is its in Germany and the photo of it is crap. Its a PTO driven one and the model is a HF-760. Ive had a good look about the net but so far not found their sight or the guy selling it spelt it wrong.Anyone know a Ducker?
  19. Whats the lack of pronounced heel like when spiking?I have a pair of Meindle boots for hunting and found them poor for spiking,as it felt like the bottom of the shank was going to slip off.Do these Meindle boots have a taller heel? I don't like the colour, hate to have to change the theme of the float in the Mardigras. Again!
  20. nothing that some grinding paste and a wire wheel wouldn't fix!
  21. Flush cut.Not much chance of anything snagging on the way down
  22. I can understand the reason's many Brits have for emigrating, crime, weather, better schooling etc. But,why not make your voice louder in correcting the problems that exist at home?People emigrating from countries with stronger currencies than their new home create ill feeling by pushing up house price's beyond the reach of locals.New Zealand saw 25years of property appreciation in just seven years post 9/11,due to immigration and foreign investment. Not too disimiliar to whats going on in the UK right now I suspect.
