  1. i think you need a second opinion on the taste and with the credit crunch i am sick of dry bread
  2. took my boy and colleagues kid climbing again today turned my back and this is what they got up to

  4. i should be able to answer all your questions have loads of there id books you may be able to pick copies up at the apf If you send me reel numbers ect will cross reference them there catalogue lists all saws and bar length and most reel codes ect

  7. here is a few some have no whipping some have concealed whipping and some are whipped and all have hurt my nice soft hands and caused a few headaches

  10. sounds good money for a one man band and hedge trimmer if you went contract climbing and earned that i would bow down at your feet if you worked 2 days you could buy a new hedge trimmer wish i could buy a new chipper for 2 days money or a new climbing kit

  12. was dismantling another damn chestnut today and about 2pm it started to RAIN again and all the road turned blue then went home with a load of logs and it hammered it down and my drive had a blue river running along it This has happened many times before could someone please tell me why as everyone seems to think i had thrown oil or diesel everywhere
  13. i think your miss reading some posts then if you do not think he has learnt a little lesson i would imagine he has a mate of mine cut himself and i was not there but i learnt a lesson from his mistake as i believe that is why he has posted his pics so we may all think about our working practices i do not believe he posted his pics to show how cool he is to have joined the 200t club
  14. they only seem to cut me when they brand new for some reason i have never worked out
  15. earlier this week i wanted to test some splices so fastened a mallion through splice hooked it through the pin on back of tractor and tied an alpine butterfly which i put through the pin on 17t wagon butterfly broke where it entered the knot then tied a fig 8 and guess what that broke in exactly the same place the splice was not whipped and it actually pulled ever so slightly tighter it was blaze by the way with a min bs of 2450kg
  16. so will you be cutting and holding again or just crossing arms or buying a new big silky
  17. if you think its enough thats all that matters but i would take his advice and charge the bloke more next time and see if he then tells you your too expensive
  18. took him abseiling at 23 months and caving at 4 skiing since 4 now boards and skis better than me has no fear of owt and is getting pretty good at branch walking although he lacks the strengh to prussick too much
  19. hope you dissinfected the saw so no disease spread to the next tree only joking get well soon and treat yourself to a silky saw
  20. start em a bit younger he had to go down the length of the garage only using the roof beams with an adjustable strop and 2 slings

  22. seem to have got blaze sorted i think done 3 compled ones and a few that got abandoned am struggling with the cross over bury on some XTC + but to be honest my hands are too sore tried to destroy blaze splices and a few others and every splice held good snapped on the rope or knot
  23. dont talk to me about splicing pete my hands are red raw at the moment will fire some pictures up later in the week have been too many recently
  24. i have seen and used enviroplants chippers all brand new and all different sizes and applications really impressive:001_cool:
