  3. i usually manage 2 or 3 a year just replaced N73 now got an iphone and do not hold out for its ruggedness i always use screen protectors which are a must if you put it in your pocket when its all scratched peel it off and stick another on Take out insurance and do not worry about phone is my motto

  8. i keep all my manuals as well and if you did you would have all the tacho settings i once took a 357 manual on holiday and read it from front to back now who,s the saddist

  10. ours come next tuesday tree lads have to be there for ours for rigging them and removing slings and often trimming butts or a couple of whorls but we only do the 6 big ones gardeners do the others
  11. we have had to start tipping elsewhere as they told us to keep tipping and they would keep pushing it up pile got that big it shut the road i got a telling off for tipping in the middle of the road and blocking someone in but there was no where else to put it
  12. i think its a top idea if it was conifer ect take the chipper we have been discussing how we could press chips into logs like the paper log idea or strapboard idea that machine does not look expensive to be able to log up small cord would be ace chimenea,s would be ideal

  19. i have been watching this thread with interest as i do suffer with the hand job(pun intended) i have been using saws a long time and started to suffer approx 10 years ago and am still using them. We now regularly change sprockets monitor bar wear Sharpen with vib in mind as well as speed and laziness run upto date saws with vib levels considered for all purchases have saws vib tested Buy saws with heated handles wear gloves in fact all our saws are been re tested and tagged this friday Without all this i do not think i would still be able to be a working arborist. So please think a little before it is too late

  24. where else would you keep the logs we have a big wooden box next to our stove that usually lasts a week
  25. do not really understand the question but was fitted by a proper plumber and is protected against problems such as power failures
