I have always fancied turning a few bowls ect well you boys have inspired me then a guy came to yard asking for bits for turning swapped him some wood for a quick lesson and now i have just bought a lathe some tools and an extractor and even BOUGHT some wood only problem is making some space in my garage to fit it in so it may be a while before it gets turned on:lol:

  20. girls girls girls sorry i missed this one nice one blakes for putting some good points i have just watched the vid again and found a few more points to raise will start with why use a bowline rather than a timber hitch when lowering vertical sections as a timber hitch is stronger very sorry i was not on last night blakes then i could of helped fight the cause:001_smile: another 40 posts then another point will be raised
  21. but if they already have call out crews and the wind comes would they not have problems dealing with what they were already contracted to do and could be unable to respond within the 2 hr period sorry i am not been negative followed this thread with interest as i am LA part time and self employed and have to do a fair amount of call out and out of 10 men we sometimes find it a real pain getting a couple to go out to sort stuff especially when we have multiples and need extra staff

  25. we put one on ours just above the infeed i am afraid and ours was way too bright then we tried a strobe and too bright so now just never use it location is important we have normal beacons on vehicles and LED flashers at rear of vehicle and they are well bright
