  1. if your not a daily climber then you should stick to type C
  2. the end or nozzles on an airspade are 'ventui valves' and tuned to certain air flow/pressure to focus and accelerate the air, the air pick has a hole in the end:001_smile:
  3. i think the its sasmo that were the screw chipper, with the spring loaded dog tooth 'safety' device
  4. great contact the isa and you get on and organise it, be proactive
  5. 6 months to 10 years are the manufacture's guidelines used in conjunction with your LOLER inspections
  6. its hard enough to organise one a year nowadays let alone 4:wink:
  7. sorry for the derail, BMW/ jags have a cpu on the gear box that take about 20mins to shut down, so if your in and out of the car, you can soon get a flat battery
  8. right end of the stick just try before you buy as the cut/fit/style is different between manufactures
  9. just light the fire early and use logs, we bbq like this and haven't used charcoal in years
  10. guess I wont be changing my old one which is super comfortable and will last till its out of manufactures aged guidelines ;-)
  11. yes but no:biggrin: the spec for the waist is 20cm protection above the crotch which is lower than a ladies stile cut:sneaky2:

  13. as the cut is different for mens trousers to ladies the only thing is try before you buy. FYI no one makes ladies chainsaw pants as the lower cut waist will not pass the test.

  17. as a trainee you should have type c
  18. no value in representing your country?
  19. so matty and josh should have their own comp as they are both the best and have nothing to learn lol
  20. surely its the taking part that more important than winning! and wouldn't it be better if everyone got something rather just a few.
  21. if your happy in your box, then there's no need to go to comps. there's a lot of difference in the 'entertainment' value to the spectators when there's 30 + climbers the comps are run solely by volunteers as is the ISA, so if you'd like a better event get involved:thumbup1: A lot of the top ISA comp climbers are high production contract climbers who pick up most of their new climbing tips and tricks on the comp circuit/network. don't think I have been to a comp and not learnt something new/different, which in this game is how you stay in front.
  22. you get what you pay for
  23. chances of survival with bill, nill
