  4. evenin all,just wondered if any one knows of the recommended respirator to wear when sharpening stumpy teeth,as i think i could do a better job than the guy i pay £60 quid to do a set. cheers bill

  9. would love to rupe but its a bit catch 22 i need to get the course full before i can confirm with nod,can we say first week starting the 5th if your in then we could provisionally say thurs or fri 8th or 9 th
  10. its a start from scratch type of course,for those that aint from round these parts you could always contact nod yourselves and see if you could do something similar i believe he's based in bucks, i should also stress that the course is to be held nr dorchester dorset not dorchester oxfordshire as was just pointed out to me thanks for that mr robinson:thumbup: if your interested you need to confirm cos places is going fast!

  12. thats great jon talk to you on monday,as for your questions guys i'll have to get nod to answer your questions as its been 2 weeks since i spoke to him and sadly now most of the info is buried under a load of other stuff in my tiny brain,from what i remember well be doing a 16 and 32 strand splice and maybe work on some tenex too this maybe corrected by mr knott at a later date however. i'll see if i can get him to post an answer to your questions later. atb billy
  13. i have 4 spaces left on a splicing workshop to be held by noddy from treeworker at newlands training near dorchester in a couple of months. participants will receive training that in the future will allow they're splices to be tested to the CE standard. the cost is £120 payable on the day if your interested please call me (billy )on 07973436848
  14. we are also assuming that it was done by a contractor,maybe it was a quite day in the showroom and the boss payed a visit to the local tool hire firm and this is the result ?

  16. very cool! thanks that looks impressive, i probably could of explained my situation better, treemotion with chest harness to croll then crab to bridge. in this set up the croll sits to high and isnt as efficient as the same set up on my treeflex because there isnt a specific attachment on the treemotion for srt although it looks like drew doesnt suffer the same problem,i guess i was hoping someone had found a solution to this problem i think ill try and set something up on the bottom side d's

  18. thanks jarnii tried the biner to the bridge today and progress efficiency not as good as in my treeflex,was hoping for a gear light solution best i check out vtio nice one weedee
  19. just started to learn srt and would like to use my treemotion rather than my soon to be retired treeflex but of course theres no atachment point for a chest ascender,any body have any solutions/suggestions?
  20. come on someone must be short of work in that area? not only will i provide accomodation but food also and youl get paid too!!!
