  1. Went to Kelham Island Museum, very interesting and a little daunting at times. Would have been proper old pubs back in the day roundabouts too. Even saying that, had a point in The Millowners on site. It missed an open fire and the fug of fag smoke! 20231104_153112.mp4
  2. Nice work on the Web page and new line of work!
  3. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/2023/10/29/adam-johnson-nottingham-panthers-ice-hockey-player-dies/
  4. You are correct, whole..... But, there were some holes there too!😂🤣😂🤣
  5. Bad management, poor leadership and dubious business practices did for those boys! Only one depot did any good, the rest were just simply awful! They screwed over people like Mr Lee as they tried to screw there suppliers and countless customers too. We have two x 1928STC from one customer in our workshop right now, written off with bust engines and too many other faults to be worth repairing. Jason and I started both with 20 minutes. That depot tried to write them off and get the customer to change to the brand they were selling only. They even put a control bar on upside down and blamed us for sending the wrong one! I've not a good word to say about them on the hole......
  6. Tbh Stuart, we have a couple of customers who, regrettably, have had bother. Some we never hear from again! I got folk who don't plug it in, don't reset the tappets and some who skimp on oil changes and theirs survive! I've heard in the industry that others burn away exhaust gaskets and the loom fry, I had folk with other makes that have myther with electrics and stuff too. But, by and large, the efi unit in the 150/160/165 is holding up to the job!
  7. Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM Son is out in the States doing a drag and drive racing event in a car he only recently got, which has major issues yet still manages to drive to each event and make a pass, but now the turbo is done so the next few passes are normally aspirated! The thing has had the wrong pto shaft, wrong lug nuts, poor electrics, no trans brake, no boost off the line, damaged steering rack, street tyres for some events and wrong gearing but still managed to overcome some of these to get a personal best! Google Rocky Mountain Race Week and Death Week!
  8. You are one warped person with a way with words! I think we had to wade through a raft of recommendations from Vanguard, the oxygen sensor had a problem, so did the efi unit and the ecu was uncommonly temperamental! A mini engine service and quick plug in to the laptop and routine tappet adjustment was the main things. I did get a flat on the M6 taking it back so a new tyre was in the deal too!

    Jokes???

I'd have put them lower myself! "Can you you swing them too and fro, cam you kick me with your toe!"
  10. First check with any used chipper is a check with the serial number to see the history, is it stolen? Surely, unless you are selling a shed, it will start, run and chip? Anyone with any respect or hope of selling it would get to work?....
  11. The CS100 often astounds me at how well it works but it ain't really suited to the rough old hire game where "ride it like you stole it" is the modus operandi! There are a few in hire fleet but how about this.... come up to the factory with some brash, have the factory tour to see where they are birthed. Try one there and meet the folk behind it?
  12. Feel a bit crap. Forgot my daughters birthday yesterday- pretty crap with dates etc and we are not close and usually rely on others to remind me, but still feel crap!
  13. Greenmech factory had the tide lapping at the roller shutters when I left and it was still rising! Reckon we will have a muddy floor.....
  14. We try to get somewhere between Plakias and Chora Skafion and enjoy the food and attitude wherever! Sorry to hijack the thread too, but, I've had some epic kebabs, chopped chicken, big white bean in oven and "wtf is this" supper!
  15. Winch and I driving across Southern Crete, I stopped for a pee while she looked at the stars - not much light pollution. I was back in the rental and she exclaimed in surprise at the night sky. I whipped the phone and took this! Bloody rare to catch!
  16. I was a tad surprised that Raki is not 40+ proof! Eased my conscience somewhat having a few carafes in a beachside taverna near Rodakino in Southern Crete! Good for the digestion I'm told!
  17. Decided to keep that for tomorrow when rugby starts! Chicken thighs, coleslaw and jacket instead!
  18. Left over homemade Moussaka later - I get a picture once I've transferred it to the plate.
  19. Back in the day, I ran single, dual and dual rear 4x4 and singles 4x4 and the where all crappie off the road unless dry or the base was good!
  20. Doesn't the mud/grit chafe the inners? Aren't they putting extra stresses through to fhe rims/centres and lugnuts?
  21. Up and away! I got to assist with GreenMech factory tour today. Folk arecamazed at what goes in to make a chipper and all the details that need to be in place in the different departments etc.
  22. Thinking of getting one just to get away for odd weekends in the UK and maybe odd trip abroad. What resource do you use for locating sites and their facilities and prices?
  23. Starmer sprinkled in glitter! 😂🤣😂🤣
