What fluid do you use? I like crunchy pickled red cabbage. But my missus won't touch kimchi or most sauerkraut!

You can do it with a box sourced from Greenmech, a proximity switch, something for it to measure against and a solenoid valve. What machine are you trying to convert? Perhaps time to bin it and buy a new chipper with this fitted and a correct infeed? If yours is that old that it hasn't ever had a "no stress", it may not be compliant with current regs and shouldn't be used?

One of the lads who worked for me had one. Surprised he didn't kill himself on it, mind numbingly quick! He rode in jeans, Barbour wax jacket and open helmet! He was a box of frogs mind, voices in his head, some odd personal habits and quick temper! I'd tell you the story of his hatred of golfers so he defecated in all holes in sight of the club house!
