  1. i'm not questioning the awesome job...but how come you didn't scarfe-joint the main beams that run the length of the barn instead of off-setting them at the over-lap ?

  3. there are sculptural "artists" who sell stuff like this for thousands JUST as it is in your workshop, sometimes they'll burn the hell out of the wood and give it some fancy name to justify the mahoosive pricetag....

    piston kit came the other day....all fitted along with new-ish carb and new inlet boot....got saw running at factory settings and then tuned up to run proper

    i've managed to get hold of a clean engine case/bore from another 357XP that got stripped down for spare parts, and yes once i started stripping my own saw down it was the rubber boot that was loose. i've used a vernier(sp) to measure the diameter and it is 46mm....I was just asking because the price difference is staggering !! Thank you for the reply !! (i found Max's Meteor piston kit on ebay)

    I'm after a replacement piston for my 2005 357XP....the OEM version retails at aboot £84 this one HUSQVARNA 357xp 357 357xpg CHAINSAW PISTON & Rings 46mm | eBay is only £21 I know it's a patent part but is it okay for my saw ??
